Match Thoughts
Very good match. I’ve seen Miranda Alize in multiple other promotions before (Stardom, AEW, WWE), but this was easily the best match of hers I’ve seen. From what I’ve seen of her in those other promotions, she’s often been used as more or less as enhancement talent. Tonight though, Alize was able to show what she can do. She has a nice combination of speed, agility, and technique, and she adapted well to Trish Adora’s attacks. This is my first time seeing Adora wrestle, and she was impressive as well. She used her size advantage to either overpower or out-leverage Alize in many situations, and Adora was a very nice counter to Alize’s brand of offense. I could have seen this match go either way, and I would have been happy with either result. As it was, this match built well and ended on a very solid final sequence. I’m eager to see more of both of these wrestlers in ROH in the future.
