Intro Video

Match 1
CM Punk vs Matt Sydal
(referee: Paul Turner)

Show/Hide Results

Result: CM Punk wins via pinfall after GTS
Time: 14:46

Match Thoughts
Great match. Sydal was more agile, and he was able to get Punk into a number of dangerous predicaments. Punk controlled the pace of the match for the most part though. Punk was calm throughout the bout, and he was good at taking advantage of opportunities as they arose. There was little doubt that Punk would win, but it was still a very fun match.

Backstage
Dark Order is happy that Hangman Page is back, and they’re excited Page has an AEW World Title shot at Full Gear. Dark Order knows that the Super Kliq will want to get involved in the title match, so John Silver issues a challenge to The Young Bucks and Adam Cole.

Match 2
Ruby Soho vs The Bunny
(referee: Bryce Remsburg)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Ruby Soho wins via pinfall with a backslide
Time: 9:49

Match Thoughts
Very good match. The bunny put up a much better fight than expected. Towards the end of the match, The Bunny was hitting some very big and powerful moves on Soho, forcing Soho to get creative. This was a nice match to build up The Bunny without derailing any of Soho’s momentum.

Ring Area
After the match, Penelope Ford runs out and attack Ruby Soho. Ford and The Bunny stomp Soho, then Ford hits Soho with brass knuckles.

Backstage
Via split-screen, Mark Henry gets comments from the competitors in tonight’s main event.

Match 3
Sammy Guevara (TNT Champ) & Jake Hager & Chris Jericho vs Junior dos Santos & The Men of the Year w/ Dan Lambert, Jorge Masvidal
(referee: Aubrey Edwards)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Scorpio Sky pins Chris Jericho after a running knee strike from Jorge Masvidal
Time: 11:28

Match Thoughts
Very good match. Men of the Year and Junior dos Santos were confident, but Inner Circle actually came for a fight. Santos looked intimidating in his short time in the ring, but they were wise to keep his ring time limited. That meant Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page did most of the work for their team, and they tended to get dominated by Inner Circle. Sammy Guevara stood out with quick bursts of high-flying offense, but Jericho was the workhorse of the team. Inner Circle had to deal with the numbers of American Top Team though, and that proved to be a huge factor in the outcome of the match.

Ring Area
After the match, Paige VanZant, Austin Vanderford, and Dalton Rosta join the rest of American Top Team in the ring as they beat up The Chris Jericho. After a while, Santana and Ortiz run out to chase American Top Team away.

Show Impressions
This was a fun show. I think I enjoyed the Buy In on YouTube more, but a lot of that had to do with Bryan Danielson vs Minoru Suzuki.

Match of the Night
CM Punk vs Matt Sydal
This match didn’t have as much drama as the main event, but I enjoyed the overall action more.
