Last month, Tozawa and Itami took on the Lucha House Party and some bad feelings were started. The feud has grown over the last few weeks, so tonight there will be a tornado tag match to (possibly) settle the matter.

“Hail to the Crown” by CFO$ featuring From Ashes to New

Dasha Fuentes asks Ariya Daivari why he challenged Mustafa Ali to a match tonight. Daivari thinks Ali is pathetic, and he wants to prove that Ali should go to the back of the line.

Match 1
Mustafa Ali vs Ariya Daivari
(referee: Jason Ayers)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Mustafa Ali wins via pinfall with an 054
Time: 7:34

Match Thoughts
Good match. It started fairly even, then Daivari hit some big moves, including a spinebuster on the floor, to pull ahead in the match. Daivari controlled a lot of the later parts of the match, but Ali seems to always be a couple of moves away from turning things around. He did that here, and it was a good match for Ali.

Drake Maverick says Buddy Murphy’s attack on Cedric Alexander were inexcusable, but Murphy’s recent matches have earned him a title opportunity at the Greatest Royal Rumble. Unfortunately for him, Murphy couldn’t make weight prior to the match being signed. So next week there will be a gauntlet match to determine a number one contender to face Cedric for his title.

Match 2
Gentleman Jack Gallagher & The Brian Kendrick vs Vinny Scalise (VSK) & Kevin DeTiberus (Kevin Tibbs)
(referee: Ryan Tran)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Brian Kendrick forces Kevin DeTibres to submit to the Captain’s Hook
Time: 3:56

Match Thoughts
Squash, but it was really nice to see Kendrick back in the ring.

Dasha Fuentes asks Mustafa Ali what he thinks about Murphy not making weight. Ali hopes Murphy can make weight soon so Cedric Alexander can get some revenge. In the meantime, Ali is determined to win next week’s gauntlet match.

Drew Gulak talks about his ground-based superiority and defeating Mark Andrews again. Gulak thinks Tony Nese’s quest for another match against Gulak is silly. He’s on to bigger and better things. Namely, Gulak intends to win next week’s gauntlet match.

Match 3
Tag Team Tornado Match
Gran Metalik & Lince Dorado w/ Kalisto vs Akira Tozawa & Hideo Itami
(referee: Danilo Anfibio; guest commentary: Drake Maverick; watching in the back: Kalisto)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Lince Dorado pins Akira Tozawa after a shooting star press and Gran Metlik pins Hideo Itami after a rope-walk diving elbow drop for a double pin
Time: 15:36

Match Thoughts
Great match! 205 Live has a habit of delivering really great feud-ending matches, and this was no exception. The aggression between these two teams fueled the action which was hard-hitting and high-flying. I could watch this match again and again!

Show Impressions
Very good show. A great main event highlighted a night of solid wrestling, a nice return with Brian Kendrick, and an interesting development with Buddy Murphy not making weight. 205 Live continues to reward those who choose to watch.

Match of the Night
Tag Team Tornado Match
If this is the last match of the feud I’ll be satisfied, but I kind of don’t want it to end!
