Match Thoughts
This was fun. Mahalicia might be my favorite team in the tournament so far. Alicia Fox makes everything entertaining, and her interactions with Mahal and Singh were great. Singh and Rush also got involved late in the match which I enjoyed. Lashley was probably the weakest part of the match, but he’s big and strong so he at least had a good presence. My favorite part might have been the push up contest though.

Selfie Promo
Bayley and Balor say they will make Mahalicia’s luck go from bad to worse. And it will be too sweet.

Backstage
Alicia Fox tells Mahal that he has to choose between her or Sunil Singh. Mahal just wants Fox to practice her breathing. Fox storms off, so Mahal and Singh follow. Carmella walks past everyone on her way to the ring.

Match 2
Carmella & R-Truth vs Asuka & The Miz
(referee: Ryan Tran; watching in the back: Rusev, Lana)

Result: Asuka forces Carmella to submit to the Asuka Lock
Time: 9:58

Match Thoughts
This was the better wrestling match of the night. The match started off fun and kind of funny with R-Truth and Carmella pausing for a dance break (which Asuka joined), but after a while it got more serious. Miz and R-Truth were pretty even throughout the match, but Asuka dominated Carmella whenever they were in the ring. I liked the finish here, and I liked how even though Miz was the only person people didn’t like, his team still got cheered whenever Asuka was in the ring.

Rusev and Lana will crush Day One Glow next week.

Selfie Promo
Day One Glow will bounce back next week and prove they are the strongest married couple in WWE.

Show Impressions
Both matches were fun tonight. I liked this show.

Match of the Night
Awe-Ska vs Fabulous Truth
As much as I like Mahalicia, Awe-Ska and Fabulous Truth had the better match tonight. It’s too bad we won’t get to see Fabulous Truth versus Mahalicia (unless they each win their bracket, which is highly unlikely).
