Match 1
Candice LeRae vs Lacey Evans
(referee: Darryl Sharma)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Lacey Evans wins via pinfall after the Women’s Right
Time: 6:17

Match Thoughts
Good match. I liked seeing LeRae get increasingly angry as Evans kept pushing her. The anger worked well for most of the match, but in the end it caused LeRae to get distracted from winning. I’m looking forward to seeing LeRae get a win back on Evans.

Video
Adam Cole, Pete Dunne, and Ricochet talk about their upcoming North American Title triple threat match.

Video
A package promo for the Forgotten Sons. They’re coming up next!

Backstage
Tommaso Ciampa says Velveteen Dream is living in a dream world if he thinks Ciampa attacked Aleister Black. Also, Dream should stay out of the champ’s spotlight.

Match 2
Vinny Mixon & Cesar Rise & Torry Kirsh vs Steve Cutler & Wesley Blake & Jaxson Ryker
(referee: Eddie Orengo)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Jaxson Ryker pins Torry Kirsh after a slingshot release powerbomb
Time: 2:28

Match Thoughts
A squash, but I did like some of the teamwork within the Forgotten Sons.

Video
Shayna Baszler has been training hard for her rematch with Kairi Sane.

Backstage
Cathy Kelley asks Tony Nese why he is here on NXT. Tony plans to take over NXT. If you need another reason, Nese has eight of them.

Backstage
Cathy Kelley asks Bianca Belair for a response to Nikki Cross saying she wants to play. Belair doesn’t care what Cross wants, and she intends to stay undefeated.

Match 3
Johnny Gargano vs Tony Nese
(referee: Drake Wuertz)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Johnny Gargano wins via submission with the Gargano Escape
Time: 9:43

Match Thoughts
Very good match. Tony Nese looked great tonight, and he pushed Gargano to put up a great fight. This match was certainly more about Gargano’s ongoing story than Tony Nese, but I’d love to see more of Nese in NXT.

Video
A look at the team of Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan. They’re ready to chase the tag titles again now that Lorcan is back from injury.

Match 4
Lars Sullivan vs EC3
(referee: DA Brewer)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Lars Sullivan wins via pinfall after a diving headbutt
Time: 6:45

Match Thoughts
Good match. This was surprisingly hard-hitting, and both men showed some wounds from this battle. This was about strength and power, and it was pretty fun to watch. I still think it’s interesting what they’re doing with EC3, though I wonder if they have a payoff in mind.

Show Impressions
I liked this show. Nothing stood out as super important tonight, but it was a solid show top to bottom.

Match of the Night
Johnny Gargano vs Tony Nese
More Nese please.
