Drew Gulak says these are strange days in 205 Live. Murphy and Alexander are gone, Nese is the champ, and Lorcan and Daivari are competing for a title shot. Regardless, soo the Cruiserweight Title will reach its inevitable position around Drew Gulak’s waist. But first, Gulak will teach his former student Humberto Carrillo one final lesson.

Drew Gulak vs Humberto Carrillo
(referee: Danilo Anfibio)
Result: Humberto Carrillo wins via pinfall after the Aztec Press
Very good match. Both men played to their strengths, and that, unsurprisingly, worked very well. This was a big match for Carrillo.
Oney Lorcan talks about working for ten years to become a champ in WWE. Now one man stands in his way from that opportunity. Daivari will try to hit Lorcan as hard as he can, but that’s the kind of fight Lorcan likes.
Ariya Daivari says he has been untouchable in 2019. He doesn’t care who he has to beat, nobody will keep him from becoming the next Cruiserweight Champ.
Drake Maverick speaks with Mike and Maria Kanellis when The Brian Kendrick walks up. Kendrick says he wants to talk, but he then admits he is just a distraction. Akira Tozawa attacks Mike Kanellis from behind. Tozawa is restrained as Mike and Maria leave.
Cruiserweight Title Number One Contender Match
Ariya Daivari vs Oney Lorcan
(referee: Ryan Tran; at ringside: Tony Nese)
Result: Ariya Daivari wins via pinfall after a hammerlock lariat
Very good match. This was a hard-hitting affair as expected. Lorcan definitely showed more emotion throughout the match, and it felt like this was Lorcan’s match to lose. I liked how the fight developed, and even though I was pulling for a different result, I can’t be upset with what I just saw.
This was a solid show. It was almost all wrestling, and both matches were quite good.
Match of the Night
Lorcan vs Daivari
I think both match were pretty equal in terms of entertainment, but I think I went with the main event because of the stakes involved.
