Match 1
The Brian Kendrick vs Tyler Bate
(referee: Tom Castor)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Tyler Bate wins via pinfall after the Tyler Driver ’97
Time: 13:57

Match Thoughts
Very good match. They started things off with mutual respect (and even shook hands), but Kendrick wasn’t above taking a few shortcuts. Even so, this was pretty much a straightforward, fairly fought match. Both men looked very good, and the intensity picked up as it went along. There some some nicely tense moments towards the end, and overall I really enjoyed this matchup.

Match 2
Flash Morgan Webster & Mark Andrews vs Ariya Daivari & Mike Kanellis
(referee: Chris Sharpe)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Flash Morgan Webster pins Mike Kanellis after Stundog Millionaire (Andrews) and a diving somersault senton (Webster)
Time: 13:07

Match Thoughts
Good match. Kanellis and Daivari dominated Webster for a large portion of the match, but a tag to Andrews opened things up and increased the pace substantially. This was fun.

Match 3
Albert Hardie Jr. vs Ligero vs Gran Metalik
(referee: Jessika Carr)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Ligero pins Albert Hardie Jr. after a tornado DDT
Time: 11:10

Match Thoughts
Very good match! This was super fun. There was a lot of flying, as expected, but what I really enjoyed was how all three men worked together. Hardie was the bad guy here. he was arrogant and cocky, and it looked like he hit at least one low blow during the match. He supported his attitude with a strong performance though, and he dominated sections of the match. Gran Metalik was able to hit some big, flashy moves at opportune moments, and Ligero absorbed a lot of punishment while hanging in there and fighting back. This was very well done.

Match 4
Akira Tozawa vs Jordan Devlin
(referee: Tom Castor)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Jordan Devlin wins via pinfall after a snap backdrop driver
Time: 13:07

Match Thoughts
Very good match. Devlin and Tozawa were very evenly matched throughout this bout. They traded strikes and holds at an almost even pace. It was tough to call a winner up until the very end, and that helped make this match very fun to watch.

Show Impressions
This show was a lot of fun. It makes me want another Cruiserweight Classic.

Match of the Night
Albert Hardie Jr vs Ligero vs Gran Metalik
I really enjoyed the main event as well, but I think I had the most fun with this triple threat. Plus, seeing Hardie’s first televised match in WWE elped elevate the match for me.
