Match 1
Akira Tozawa w/ The Brian Kendrick vs Samir Singh w/ Sunil Singh
(referee: Drake Wuertz)
Result: Akira Tozawa wins via pinfall with a sunset flip
Time: 3:03
Match Thoughts
This was okay. I think it could have been a very good match, but it was just too short. The best art was a running front flip senton Tozawa did off the apron. Other than this, this match was really just about adding some more animosity between the Singh Brothers and the team of Tozawa and Kendrick.
Ring Area
After the match, the Singh Brothers attack Kendrick and Tozawa. Sunil sets up to hit Tozawa with his Bollywood award, but Tozawa dumps him out of the ring. Tozawa then dumps Samir out of the ring. Tozawa picks up the Bollywood award and holds it up in the air. The Singh Brothers are pissed.

Match 2
Mike Kanellis vs Jackson James
(referee: Danilo Anfibio; watching in the back: Maria Kanellis)
Result: Mike Kanellis wins via pinfall after an inverted facelock into a rolling cutter
Time: 1:37
Match Thoughts
Squash. Kanellis took out a little of his frustration on James tonight.
Ring Area
After the match, Mike calls Drake Maverick out to the ring. Maverick quickly comes out. Mike tells Drake that he decided to stay on 205 Live when his contract expired recently because he wanted to prove to Maria that he’s the best, and he wanted to kick Maverick’s ass. Maverick tells Kanellis to look at himself if he’s frustrated with his place on 205 Live. Does he really think he’s better than anyone else on the show who had tried to build the division rather than use it for themselves?
Maverick mentions Kanellis’s performance on RAW recently, so Kanellis questions Maverick’s performance with his wife Renee Michelle on RAW. Maverick has heard enough. He reminds Kanellis that he is the GM of 205 Live, then Maverick starts to walk away. Kanellis questions Maverick’s recent actions. Kanellis says Maverick is an embarrassment and he makes 205 Live look bad.
Kanellis tells Maverick to go home and prove to his wife that he’s a man. But he’s not a man, is he? A real man wouldn’t back down from a fight. He wouldn’t let someone talk down to him like Kanellis is doing right now. He wouldn’t let someone call his with a filthy… Maverick attacks Kanellis and sends him out of the ring. Kanellis smiles as he backs away up the ramp.
Match 3
Gentleman Jack Gallagher vs Chad Gable
(referee: Ryan Tran)
Result: Chad Gable wins via pinfall with a bridging rolling German suplex
Time: 16:10
Match Thoughts
Great match! This felt like a title match or the culmination of a heated feud, but it was just two guys who wanted to prove how good they are. Gallagher and Gable both proved (once again) that they are great. This was a great blend of technique and a strong, hard style. Both men gave everything in this match, and I hope it leads to great things for both of them.
Show Impressions
This was a very good episode. The first two matches were more about story than wrestling, but the talking segment between Maverick and Kanellis was quite good, and the main event was excellent.
Match of the Night
Gentleman Jack Gallagher vs Chad Gable
I’d love to see this rivalry revisited every once in a while as they both move on from this. This was great.
