Tony Shiavone welcomes us to Dark and tells us tonight’s matches.

Match 1
QT Marshall & “The Librarian” Peter Avalon w/ “The Librarian” Leva Bates vs Sonny Kiss & “The Natural” Dustin Rhodes
(referee: Paul Turner)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Dustin Rhodes pins Peter Avalon after the Final Cut
Time: 9:08

Match Thoughts
This was fun. Dustin and Sonny make a very entertaining tag team, and they even had matching ring gear. Sonny spent most of the time in the ring for his team, and he got into some trouble with Avalon and Marshall’s fairly quick tags. Dustin came into the match and cleaned up a couple times though, so Dustin and Sonny never really seemed to have too much trouble.

Match 2
Penelope Ford vs Sadie Gibbs vs Allie vs Emi Sakura
(referee: Rick Knox)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Emi Sakura pins Penelope Ford after a Tiger Driver
Time: 11:54

Match Thoughts
Good match. No one ever really had an advantage in the match for long, so it was hard to tell who might be on their way to a victory. I think Gibbs stood out for the power moves she did, and I think Sakura stood out for her fun nature and her experience. Allie and Ford looked fine, but this just wasn’t their match.

Backstage
Alex Marvez welcomes Kip Sabian. Sabian feels like he’s being left out and that AEW is focused too much on The Elite.

Match 3
Three Way Falls Count Anywhere Match
Jimmy Havoc vs Jack Evans vs Darby Allin
(referee: Aubrey Edwards)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Darby Allin pins Jack Evans after a Coffin Drop with a chair onto both Evans and Havoc
Time: 13:13

Match Thoughts
Good match. Havoc and Allin brought a lot of violence as expected, but Evans did well in this environment with a nice mix of smart spots and high-flying. The match went out into the crowd, up to the stage, and down the ramp before finally ending with a bunch of chairs and a table in the ring. This was fun.

Show Impressions
This was another fun episode of Dark. The matches built up nicely tonight.

Match of the Night
Havoc vs Evans vs Allin
Fun violence and some cringe-worthy moments.
