Smackdown Recap & Review – Episode 874
This show felt like a bridge connecting RAW to Extreme Rules, and it did that job pretty well with some entertaining segments.
RAW Recap & Review – “A Boiling Pot of Woman Rage”
With a good variety of matches and some segments that set up things to look forward to, this was a good followup to Payback and a fun RAW to watch.
SmackDown Recap & Review – Episode 863
Despite the announcement of the Divas Title match being triple threat, this show seemed kind of like it didn’t matter in the long run, but it was still a very entertaining show.
RAW Recap & Review – Episode 1188
Dean Ambrose challenges Triple H to a title match in a development that keeps things interesting despite the absence of their Wrestlemania opponents.
Smackdown Recap & Review – “Bad Decisions Make Great Replays”
With good matches and some nice attention paid to developing stories, this week’s Smackdown was very entertaining.
RAW Recap & Review – “A Savage Beating”
This week’s RAW set up a number of matches for Wrestlemania and had a few very memorable moments including the return of Shane McMahon!
Smackdown Recap & Review – “An Imploding Friendship”
A good Smackdown that maintained interest in Sunday’s Fastlane with good, but unsurprising, matches.
RAW Recap & Review – “Hell To Pay”
This was a pretty good show with some nice surprises, but the ending confused me.
Smackdown Recap & Review – “A Classic Confrontation”
By keeping the match count low, this show was able to have some very nice wrestling. Chris Jericho wrestled AJ Styles in their rematch from the RAW after the Royal Rumble, and Sasha Banks took on Naomi in a very competitive match. Plus, the Dudley Boyz and the Wyatt Family both had some very important words for the WWE Universe (though some words were more cryptic than others).
RAW Recap & Review – “Grateful”
The show was fine, but it was made memorable due to the sad fact of Daniel Bryan’s sudden retirement from professional wrestling. His address to the fans was definitely the highlight of the show.
Main Event Recap & Review – “Return To Form”
This week’s Main Event had a surprisingly good match between Rusev and Ryback and a match that most people would expect to be good, Swagger versus Owens.
RAW Recap & Review – “Did I Do That?”
The return of the Rock and AJ Styles versus Chris Jericho highlight a good followup to the Royal Rumble.
Royal Rumble Kickoff Show – Recap & Review
Predictions are made and a fatal four way tag team match is held to determine two of the spots in the Royal Rumble match.
Main Event Recap & Review – “White Snowflake”
This week Main Event is bookended by two decent tag matches with a very nice, aggressive, quick match between Neville and Breeze in the middle.
RAW Recap & Review – “Focus”
As the last RAW before the Royal Rumble, this show felt a little like treading water, but one segment in particular made for an interesting lead-in to one of the most fun events of the year.
Superstars Recap & Review – “Not Even a Threat”
Tyler Breeze and Jack Swagger make up for their not-so-great match last week with a much better rematch.
Smackdown Recap & Review – “One Opportunity”
A few nice happenings and a good rematch for the US Title make this a Smackdown worth watching.
RAW Recap & Review – “Unique Flowers”
The road to the Royal Rumble got off to a pretty good start in 2016 in a RAW that saw the return of an old favorite, the emergence of a new faction, and the announcement of a big match stipulation!
Smackdown Recap & Review – “Resolutions”
The last WWE show of the year and the last Smackdown on the SyFy channel brought some entertaining matches that didn’t mean much for stories, but were a pretty good diversion.
