This fine episode of NXT had some fine matches including a number one contender’s match for the tag title between the Street Profits and the Authors of Pain.
This week’s episode is essentially a wrap-up of Takeover: Brooklyn III, but Peyton Royce versus Sarah Logan and a UK division tag match make this episode of NXT a must-watch.
The Street Profits make their NXT TV debut, Andrade Almas looks to get back on track against No Way Jose, and Oney Lorcan gives Danny Burch a rematch in an okay but rather uneventful episode of NXT.
Kassius Ohno and Hideo Itami battle in an attempt to settle their differences in an episode of NXT that did a lot of setting up but not much paying off.
Ember Moon takes on Ruby Riot and Drew McIntyre faces Killian Dain to decide who will be next to face Bobby Roode for the NXT Title in a good episode of NXT packed with a variety of entertaining matches.
This episode of NXT was rather forgettable, though it did feature No Way Jose’s first match after his return last week and a hard-hitting bout between Hideo Itami and Oney Lorcan.
A few solid matches and a little story development make this an NXT easily worth watching.
An okay show that would have been merely average if not for the return of Kassius Ohno!
WHile most of this episode of NXT was meant as a setup for story payoffs down the road, the main event featuring Tyler Bate defending the UK Championship against Trent Seven was very entertaining.
The entire second round of the Dusty Classic is decided in some good matches, though two of those matches are marred by injuries.
Roderick Strong makes his NXT debut teaming up with Austin Aries in a good episode of NXT.
The 2016 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic starts with one squash and one good match, Samoa Joe ruins Dan Matha’s debut, Patrick Clark debut’s a new look when he faces Rich Swann, and Peyton Royce beats up a new girl with her friend Billie Kay by her side.
This was an uneven episode of NXT with some segments that were important (and entertaining) and some that were not.
This was a good episode of NXT with two very nice matches and two that were basically exhibitions.
The wrestling was a little lacking on this episode. A good number of matches, but the quality just wasn’t there. This episode felt like a placeholder while they start to rebuild feuds after Takeover.
NXT gives Summer Slam a run for its money with another great Takeover with some fantastic title matches.
Blake and Murphy bookend a solid, if not great, episode of NXT.
A good show that felt a little like a continuation from last week in its changing of the guard due to the draft.
