SmackDown Recap & Review – Episode 863
Despite the announcement of the Divas Title match being triple threat, this show seemed kind of like it didn’t matter in the long run, but it was still a very entertaining show.
Despite the announcement of the Divas Title match being triple threat, this show seemed kind of like it didn’t matter in the long run, but it was still a very entertaining show.
Dean Ambrose challenges Triple H to a title match in a development that keeps things interesting despite the absence of their Wrestlemania opponents.
This week’s RAW set up a number of matches for Wrestlemania and had a few very memorable moments including the return of Shane McMahon!
Fastlane was a mixed show. It had some very good matches, but it also had some not so great matches and very strange booking.
A good Smackdown that maintained interest in Sunday’s Fastlane with good, but unsurprising, matches.
This was a pretty good show with some nice surprises, but the ending confused me.
The show was fine, but it was made memorable due to the sad fact of Daniel Bryan’s sudden retirement from professional wrestling. His address to the fans was definitely the highlight of the show.
With some very enjoyable moments and some surprisingly good matches here along with the usual stuff that Smackdown produces, this week’s show is a good watch.
This week’s RAW was a decent show that had some interesting developments and a few really good matches.
A predictable show with mostly predictable matches (though Kalisto versus Neville stood out), but it’s a good watch.
The return of the Rock and AJ Styles versus Chris Jericho highlight a good followup to the Royal Rumble.
As a complete show, the 2016 Royal Rumble started strong and lost some steam as it went along. As a match, it seemed reminiscent of years past, which isn’t always a good thing.
This show felt a lot like the previous RAW in that not much new ground was covered, but there were still enough fun segments to make it an entertaining show.

A few nice happenings and a good rematch for the US Title make this a Smackdown worth watching.
This week’s RAW featured more of the same for the most part, but there were a few highlights spread throughout the show.
The first Smackdown of 2016 and the first Smackdown on USA featured two title matches and had a pretty important feeling. It started off the year of Smackdown right with some good action, fun moments, and promising developments.
The road to the Royal Rumble got off to a pretty good start in 2016 in a RAW that saw the return of an old favorite, the emergence of a new faction, and the announcement of a big match stipulation!
The last WWE show of the year and the last Smackdown on the SyFy channel brought some entertaining matches that didn’t mean much for stories, but were a pretty good diversion.
The last RAW of 2015 saw the much-needed return of John Cena. Did he help make the show a memorable one? Also, the Rumble starts on this show, Reigns continues to stand around while stuff happens, and Kofi wants to fight children.
