AEW’s Beach Break was a super fun show despite the fact that it has AEW’s first wrestling wedding.
Two exciting semifinal matches in the Eliminator Tournament, a lumberjack match for the TNT Title between Cody and Orange Cassidy, and a title defense from the new NWA Women’s World Champion, Serena Deeb, make this a very entertaining episode of AEW Dynamite.
There were no fans in attendance, but Stardom was able to put on a very fun show with a great match between Saki Kashima and Mayu Iwatani in the main event!
The first episode of SmackDown on Fox had some fun moments, lots of guests (including The Rock), at least one good match, and a title match that sent a wave of anger through my body.
Dolph Ziggler confronts Kofi Kingston again ahead of the title match, a new number one contender for the SmackDown Women’s Title is decided, the 24/7 Title is defended in an actual match, Goldberg has some words for The Undertaker, and more on a pretty good episode of SmackDown Live.
Bobby Lashley and Seth Rollins brawl, but Seth Rollins still wants Dean Ambrose. John Cena returns to RAW, but Drew McIntyre has been waiting for him. Alexa Bliss has a talk show, but it’s hijacked by Rousey, Banks, and Jax. The Revival want lumberjack justice, but they can’t seem to catch a break. Strowman wants a face to face with Lesnar, but Lesnar has other plans. Plus more!
Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens serve as the punching bags for SmackDown’s collective disappointment with the outcome of Survivor Series, and NXT continues to funnel females onto the main roster this week.
The Shield reunites and Enzo Amore is forced to defend his title against Kalisto early in an alright episode of RAW.
