A number one contender is named for the tag titles in a gauntlet match, Sammy Guevara faces Matt Hardy in a tables match, and All Out continues to take shape in a pretty good episode of AEW Dynamite.
Roderick Strong challenges Velveteen Dream for the North American Title, Matt Riddle battles Killian Dain in a street fight, Io Shirai, Bianca Belair, Mia Yim, and Candice LeRae clash to determine a number one contender for the NXT Women’s Title, Lio Rush returns to fight Oney Lorcan, and more on a really good live two hour episode of NXT.
Gargano and Riddle face Fish and O’Reilly in the main event of a good episode of NXT that served well as a setup for future shows and matches.
Itami attempts to beat some respect into Ali, and Murphy and Nese try to silence the Lucha House Party on a good episode of 205 Live.
The final stop before Takeover: Chicago didn’t have much in the way of new developments, but it was an okay show regardless.
Roderick Strong makes his NXT debut teaming up with Austin Aries in a good episode of NXT.
Hideo Itami returns to the ring, Asuka tries to mess with Bayley’s head, Bobby Roode addresses the NXT Universe, and The Revival takes on TM61 in a show that pushes NXT towards Takeover.
A great start to what promises to be a unique and exciting series of shows for WWE.
