Hell in a Cell Recap & Review
Though there were some strange occurrences that soured the show, there were a few great matches definitely worth watching.
Though there were some strange occurrences that soured the show, there were a few great matches definitely worth watching.
Every main roster title is defended (minus the two defended on the kickoff show) on a mostly entertaining Clash of Champions.
This year’s SummerSlam was a mostly good show. It featured some fun moments and had a few very entertaining matches, including the main event of Seth Rollins versus Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Title.
This year’s Extreme Rules was an up and down show with some really good, some not so good, and some fairly uninteresting matches.
Shenanigans were afoot in a Money in the Bank that featured a few great matches and moments as well as more than a few head-scratching segments.
Rollins looks for revenge on McIntyre, Batista explains himself (sort of), Dana Brooke gets a title shot (sort of), Beth Phoenix makes a challenge, Kurt Angle faces Chad Gable, and more on an okay episode of RAW.
NXT invades RAW (sort of) as Ricochet, Aleister Black, Johnny Gargano, and Tommaso Ciampa make their RAW in-ring debuts on an entertaining episode.
Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch make their choices for which title to challenge for at Wrestlemania, two teams qualify for the women’s tag title match at Elimination Chamber, Bayley challenges Ronda Rousey to a title match, and more on a mostly underwhelming episode of RAW.
This Christmas Eve edition of RAW featured some pretty fun moments and two fine title matches, though in the end it felt a little inconsequential.
Rollins hunts for Ambrose, Natalya looks for revenge against Ruby Riott, Rousey wants to fight, Lucha House Party enjoys an unfair advantage, and more in an average episode of RAW.

Hell in a Cell 2018 featured some surprisingly great undercard matches and some not as good (but still pretty enjoyable) main events.
Despite Backlash being an underwhelming show, there were some matches and moments that make it a show worth watching (or at least skipping through).
This was another long WrestleMania with a mostly entertaining mixture of memorable moments, good matches, underwhelming matches, and strange decisions.
Tonight’s RAW was a night of returns and title matches, including The Miz and Alexa Bliss putting their titles on the line.
This year’s TLC had a couple of huge last minute changes that led to some interesting matchups, but overall the show was hit or miss. There were some great matches and moments, but there were just as many less than stellar matches and moments as well.
The first ever Great Balls of Fire, despite its silly name, was a very good show with some great matches and memorable moments.
Tonight’s show was light on wrestling with the exceptions of a nice opener and closer, but there were a few good moments including a memorable segment featuring Paul Heyman confronting Samoa Joe.
A good main event couldn’t help this year’s Extreme Rules from being only an average show. Some of the matches were not good at all and some were forgettable, but at least the show ended on a good note.
Payback 2017 had a number of good matches, and one match that will go down in history as unwatchable (in my opinion).
