This week’s RAW was an average show with some good moments scattered throughout.
This week’s RAW was an average show with some good moments scattered throughout.
Lesnar dances to a beast box, The Usos and The Revival play cornhole, Sami Zayn gets asked some stupid questions, and more on a rough episode of RAW with only a few bright spots.
A new contender for the Universal Title is decided in a mostly good episode of RAW that finally felt like a night of new beginnings two weeks after Wrestlemania.
Braun Strowman’s antics cost him, but four men are eager to take advantage of Strowman’s mistake. Also, The IC Title is up for grabs in a triple threat, the women’s tag title belts are revealed, Rousey and Banks try to work together, the Riott Squad picks a fight with a surprise opponent, and more on a mostly good episode of RAW.
Tonight’s episode felt like the path before the road to Summer Slam and not a lot seemed to happen, but there was at least one big moment when Kurt Angle finally revealed the secret he’s been dealing with for the past few weeks.
A good main event couldn’t help this year’s Extreme Rules from being only an average show. Some of the matches were not good at all and some were forgettable, but at least the show ended on a good note.
Despite the unfortunate injury to Finn Balor at Summer Slam, this was a good follow-up show to the PPV. A series of matches took place to determine four contenders who will fight to become the new Universal Champ, a probable new contender for Charlotte’s Women’s Title is introduced, and the Dudley Boyz gave what might be a retirement speech.
A new start for RAW, and in many ways and a good show. It wasn’t perfect, but it was very entertaining and some big stuff happened. Hopefully they can keep this up.
