Match Thoughts
Very good match. Hanan and Iida started strong with an attack on AZM and Watanabe right before the opening bell, and that momentum carried wing★gori deep into the match. Hanan and Iida kept the pressure on, and MOMOAZ had a difficult time trying to recover and fight back. After a few tags, Hanan and AZ ended up legal in the ring against each other for a good long while. It was a good high-speed fight, and Iida did her best to run interference and keep Watanabe from helping AZM. The match went linger though, and the longer it went the more it felt like Hanan was going to lose control to the current High Speed champ. AZM did end up pushing back, but with the high number of quick pin attempts happening, it felt like either of them could win at any moment. This was a very fun way to start the show.

Match Thoughts
Very good match. For the most part, everyone seemed to pair off in the match (Maika with Rina, Natsupoi with Riho, and Giulia with Gokigen DEATH), and all the pairings were entertaining in their own ways. The most exciting was Natsupoi and Riho. They had a few high-speed segments with lots of counters. I’d love to see them one on one sometime. The oddest pairing was Giulia and Gokigen DEATH. Giulia faced DEATH when she was DEATH Yama-san back in September during the 5 Star GP, and Giulia still has a very hard time figuring out how to deal with her. Their interactions weren’t as silly as in that one on one match, but they did bring a ton of levity to this match. Oh, and Giulia’s throat-thrust strategy still isn’t terribly effective on Gokigen DEATH. There was a lot of nice back and forth throughout the match, and the final segment featured some nice buildup for Natsupoi and Rina.

Match Thoughts
Good match. Mayu Iwatani and Starlight Kid were looking to start a comeback after already losing their first match in the tag league, but they struggled tonight against Black Widows. Iwatani was largely neutralized throughout the match, and left left Starlight Kid to try to maintain some offense in the ring. She fought well like she always does, but the Oedo Tai team wore her down quite thoroughly throughout the match. This was a strong and smart performance from Back Widows, and MK☆Sister’s just weren’t prepared for this fight.

Match Thoughts
Very good match. Devil Duo started with a pre-bell attack, and they kept the pressure on DREAM☆H for a good part of the match. A lot of the match was fought between Mina Shirakawa and Saki Kashima with Natsuko Tora and Tam Nakano providing support from the outside, and it was all very well done. Shirakawa not only wanted to get a couple of points in the tag league in DREAM☆H’s first match, but she also wanted a little revenge for the recent loss she suffered to Saki Kashima. That has Shirakawa fighting with a lot of heart while Kashima fought with a lot of dirty tricks and cheating. This was a lot of fun.

Match Thoughts
Very good match. This first few minutes had a nice ix of everyone going one on one with each other, then after a while the teams started to pair off. Syuri versus Hayashishita was the more entertaining pair, and their interactions throughout the match were great. Himeka versus Kamitani was also good, and they ended up being the pair legal in the ring for the final few minutes of the match. Kamitani struggled with Himeka’s size and power, but Kamitani did well when she kept her distance and used her speed (though not so much her few attempts at flying). Syuri supported Himeka well towards the end of the match, and it seemed inevitable that if Kamitani didn’t tag out, she was going to lose. I enjoyed the finish, and I enjoyed this main event.
Ring Area
After the match, Himeka is confident that she and Syuri will win the tag league. Himeka has one more thing on her mind though. She would like to challenge Giulia for the Wonder of Stardom Title at Korakuen Hall at the end of October. Giulia enters the ring and agrees to the challenge, saying there is a lot she wants to teach Himeka.
Show Impressions
This was a good show with solid bunch of matches. It was nothing super spectacular, but it was an entertaining stop of the Goddess Tag League tour, and it helped shape some of the trajectories of the competing teams.
Match of the Night
Rina & Gokigen DEATH & Riho vs Natsupoi & Maika & Giulia
This might be an odd choice since it’s the only non-league match tonight, but I had the most fun with this. The variety of action within this one match kept me the most entertained tonight.
