Match 4
World Tag League 2015 Match (Block A)
Frankie Kazarian & Christopher Daniels vs Tama Tonga & Bad Luck Fale

A good match between two teams that like to fight dirty. Kaz and Daniels like to bend the rules while working together to pull off some nice double teaming, while Fale and Tonga prefer to gain an advantage through brawling (and Fale’s size).

The match started off pretty even between Tonga and Kaz, but Kaz and Daniels gained an advantage through their teamwork. That is, until Fale pulled Daniels to the outside and threw him around the venue. Daniels barely beat the count back into the ring and was in trouble for a while, but Kaz and Daniels managed to isolate Tama Tonga and get him in Celebrity Rehab for the win.

Result: Daniels pins Tonga after Celebrity Rehab
Time: 11:40
Match 5
World Tag League 2015 Match (Block B)
Michael Bennett & Matt Taven (ROH Tag Champs) w/ Maria Kanellis vs Doc Gallows & Karl Anderson (IWGP Tag Champs)

This was an interesting match that really showed the differences between the ROH and IWGP tag champs. Bennett and Taven controlled the early part of the match with their speed and superior teamwork, but once Gallows pulled Bennett out to the floor the whole match changed. He threw Bennett into the barricades at ringside a few times, and from that moment on Bennett would be fairly ineffectual.

Bennett kept getting attacked as he tried to get back into the ring. Eventually he tagged in Taven who put up a good fight, but the power of Gallows and Anderson, coupled with the fact that his parter wasn’t in much shape to help, was too much for him. Maria tried to help by distracting Anderson, and it worked (Anderson has a thing for Maria), but it wasn’t enough.

Result: Gallows pins Taven after a Magic Killer (aided whiplash)
Time: 9:22
Match 6
World Tag League 2015 Match (Block A)
Manabu Nakanishi & Yuji Nagata vs YOSHI-HASHI & Kazuchika Okada (IWGP Heavyweight Champ)

This was a really good match with a good story and good drama. It started with the younger wrestlers (Okada and YOSHI-HASHI) seeming to take the veterans Nagata and Nakanishi lightly. Okada faced off against Nagata and was outwrestled, and YOSHI-HASHI faced off against Nakanishi and was overpowered. Okada turned the tide by taking the fight to the outside.

After they got back in the ring, Okada and YOSHI-HASHI kept the advantage for a while, but their opponents started to mount a comeback. There were some very nice near falls as the action built and the crowd got more and more into it. In the end, Nakanishi was alone in the ring with Okada and was eventually felled by a Rainmaker from the champ.

Result: Okada pins Nakanishi after a Rainmaker (short-arm lariat)
Time: 12:04
Match 7
Michael Elgin & Tomoaki Honma & Togi Makabe & Hiroshi Tanahashi vs Gedo & Toru Yano & Tomohiro Ishii (NEVER Openweight Champ) & Shinsuke Nakamura (IWGP Intercontinental Champ)

Result: Tanahashi pins Gedo with a High Fly Flow
Time: 16:28
Show Impressions
This is another show that I can currently only watch three matches out of, but what I saw was good. The Okada & YOSHI-HASHI vs Nagata & Nakanishi was by far the best match that I saw from this show. It wasn’t even the main event, but I can’t really see how the main event could be very much better.
