Video
Last week, Angle threatened to fire Heyman if Lesnar didn’t get into the ring. Angle was also forced to remove Reigns from the building. Lesnar did go to the ring, and he attacked both Angle and Heyman.

Ring Area
Kurt Angle heads to the ring with Baron Corbin. Angle says tonight will be historic with the RAW in-ring debut of Ronda Rousey. Lesnar then talks about Lesnar, saying he has no class. When Angle is about to talk about the repercussions Lesnar will face for attacking him, Roman Reigns interrupts and heads to the ring.

Reigns says Angle should have known better last week. If Reigns had been there, Lesnar wouldn’t have been able to attack Angle like he did. Reigns questions Corbin’s actions, but Angle cuts him off. Still, Angle says he hopes Reigns kicks Lesnar’s ass at Summer Slam.

Corbin says Angle is being unprofessional. Reigns again questions Corbin, so Corbin explains his actions. He’d already competed, so he didn’t want to get involved. Angle tells Corbin he could have acted like a man last week. Corbin says some stuff about Angle not being in charge, that he just makes matches, so Angle makes a match for right now.

Baron Corbin vs Roman Reigns
(referee: Chad Patton)

Result: Roman Reigns wins via pinfall after a spear

Match Thoughts
This was long. The best part was Finn Balor coming out to signal the end of the match.

Backstage
Ronda Rousey talks with Natalya.

Backstage
Bobby Roode admires himself in a mirror.

Bobby Roode vs Mojo Rawley
(referee: Darrick Moore)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Bobby Roode wins via pinfall after the Glorious DDT
Time: 5:43 (1 break)

Match Thoughts
Pretty good match. At least Mojo’s streak didn’t continue. Roode needed this.

Backstage
Elias isn’t worried about filming another documentary. He’s already seen it in his mind.

Ring Area
In the ring, Elias says the documentary released last week got things wrong. That’s why he has his own documentary crew this week. Elias orders the camera crew around and suggests that they crop out the audience. After Elias plays his guitar for a few seconds, Bobby Lashley heads to the ring.

Lashley thinks Elias’ documentary was brilliant. Elias thinks it portrayed him as egotistical and vain. Lashley thinks that’s accurate. Elias says Lashley’s entire comeback has been a joke. Lashely thinks everything about Elias is a joke, but what Lashley will do to Elias will be no joke.

Elias begins to leave with his film crew, but he quickly turns around and attacks Lashley. Lashley is able to fend off the attack. Lashley invites the camera crew back into the ring as he hits Elias with a stalling suplex.

Backstage
Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre get ready for a fight.

Tyler Breeze tells Seth Rollins that he’s available to be his tag be his tag partner tonight. Roman Reigns walks up and says he has Rollins’ back tonight.

Rezar w/ Akam vs Titus O’Neil w/ Apollo Crews, Dana Brooke
(referee: John Cone)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Rezar wins via pinfall after a spinebuster
Time: 3:04

Match Thoughts
This was okay. It was short, and the way the distraction that led to the finish felt unnecessary.

Backstage
Kevin Owens goes over some notes with Jinder Mahal and Sunil Singh.

Ring Area
Beside the stage, Kevin Owens welcomes everyone to the Kevin Owens Show and introduces Jinder Mahal. Mahal comes out with Sunil Singh, and both men take a seat. Owens says he was skeptical about Mahal’s methods, but he’s never been more calm or free of pain. Owens also says that he and Mahal share something special. They have both beaten Braun Strowman.

Kevin Owens keeps talking, not letting Mahal get a word in. Owens talks about becoming Mr. Money in the Bank after he defeats Strowman at Summer Slam. Owens says he hasn’t been the same since he lost the Universal Title, but thanks to Mahal the title is within reach. Owens has a great idea. Tonight, Mahal should fight Strowman again. Owens calls for Strowman to come out, but he doesn’t come out from the stage. Instead, Strowman comes out from under the Kevin Owens Show set, dumping everyone over onto the floor.

Match 4
Jinder Mahal w/ Sunil Singh, Kevin Owens vs Braun Strowman
(referee: Rod Zapata)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Jinder Mahal wins via DQ when Strowman hits Mahal with the MitB briefcase
Time: 1:47

Match Thoughts
This was barely a match. It was mostly just Owens taking Strowman’s briefcase to try to distract him.

Baron Corbin gives Kurt Angle a phone. Stephanie tells Angle to take care of something.

Video
A video chronicling the lengthy feud between Reigns and Lesnar.

Backstage

Dolph Ziggler (IC Champ) & Drew McIntyre vs Seth Rollins
(referee: John Cone)

Show/Hide Results

Time: 7:07

Match Thoughts
Good match. Rollins put up a good fight, but he was believably overwhelmed by Ziggler and McIntyre. The action was good though.

Backstage
Rousey warms up while Natalya looks on.

Match 6
B-Team (RAW Tag Champs) vs The Revival
(referee: Darrick Moore)

Show/Hide Results

Result: The match ends in a No Contest when Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt attack both teams
Time: 3:09

Match Thoughts
This was very short and had no real ending, but I liked seeing both teams lay into each other with some hard strikes and moves.

Backstage
Paul Heyman gets ready for a sit down interview.

Backstage
Renee Young asks Paul Heyman about Brock Lesnar. Heyman says he doesn’t know where Lesnar is or where they stand. Heyman is clearly upset and distracted. He knows Lesnar isn’t going to like Heyman talking about any of this publicly. Heyman still considers Lesnar a friend. This whole situation is inconceivable to him, as is the thought of getting a new client. Even with everything he’s going through (or maybe because of it), Heyman thinks Reigns doesn’t stand a chance against Lesnar at Summer Slam.

Match 7
Sarah Logan & Liv Morgan vs Sasha Banks & Bayley
(referee: Rod Zapata)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Sarah Logan pins Sasha Banks with a schoolboy (after a distraction from Ruby Riott)
Time: 7:20 (1 break)

Match Thoughts
Good match. This was some of the most entertaining action of the night, and the surprise return of Ruby Riott might be my favorite moment on this episode of RAW.

Video
Clips of Ronda Rousey in WWE.

Ring Area
In the ring, Charly Caruso welcomes Alicia Fox and Alexa Bliss. Bliss is tired of questions about Rousey. Bliss thinks Caruso should be asking questions about a trailblazer in the women’s division, Alicia Fox. Caruso asks Fox how she prepared to face Rousey tonight. Fox says Ronda has done some stuff, but Fox was captain of the RAW Survivor Series team. Bliss excuses Caruso from the ring. Bliss thanks Fox for everything she’s done for the women’s division.

Match 8
Alicia Fox w/ Alexa Bliss (RAW Women’s Champ) vs Ronda Rousey w/ Natalya
(referee: Chad Patton)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Ronda Rousey wins via submission with an arm submission
Time: 3:42

Match Thoughts
This was about what I expected. Alicia Fox tried to run, but Rousey caught her, threw her around, and made her submit.

Ring Area
In the ring, Charly Caruso congratulates Ronda Rousey. Alexa Bliss tries to attack Rousey, but she fails. Rousey says she’s taking the Women’s Title at Summer Slam.

Show Impressions
This episode was okay, but the matches were not that great. It really felt like not much happened tonight. Well, not much except for Ruby Riott coming back. I liked that part of the show.

Match of the Night
Sarah Logan & Liv Morgan vs Sasha Banks & Bayley
I’m not super into the story of Sasha and Bayley getting back together, but this was a fine match. And Ruby Riott made it even better.
