Backstage
William Regal tells Cathy Kelley that he is officially starting an investigation into the attack on Aleister Black.

Intro Video
“Resistance” by Powerflo

Ring Area
With the aid of a crutch, Johnny Gargano heads to the ring. He says he doesn’t deserve the applause and chants of the crowd. Gargano says he made a promise to win the NXT Title and fix things, but he failed. He isn’t sure where he goes from here. He became something he’s not proud of in Brooklyn. He became Tommaso Ciampa, and he can’t get Ciampa out of his head. He has to do better, but he doesn’t know how.

William Regal heads to the ring. As part of his investigation, Regal asks Gargano if he attacked Aleister Black. Gargano doesn’t answer. Instead, he tells Regal to look into his eyes, then Regal will know Gargano’s answer. Velveteen Dream comes out and saunters towards the ring.

Dream is tired of hearing the same old thing every week. Tonight shouldn’t be about Gargano or people who aren’t even here tonight. Tonight should be about the experience, the experience that stole the show at Brooklyn. Tonight should be about the Velveteen Dream. Dream calls Gargano “Johnny Failure,” so Gargano wants a fight. Regal says if they want to fight, they can do so next week.

Backstage
The Undisputed Era converses with each other (though Adam Cole paces by himself).

Match 1
Dakota Kai vs Aliyah
(referee: Jessika Carr)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Dakota Kai wins via pinfall after a sunset flip lung blower
Time: 5:13

Match Thoughts
Good match. I really liked Aliyah’s aggression in this match. I think the more aggressive, brawling style works for Aliyah, and it works well against Dakota Kai. Kai is often the underdog in her matches, and even though most people probably expected her to win tonight, she still fought as an underdog against Aliyah. She got beat up until she found the right moments to unleash her kicks, and it was fun to watch.

Backstage
William Regal finishes questioning Velveteen Dream and begins questioning Wesley Blake, Steve Cutler, and Jaxson Ryker. Blake says the security cameras will show that they did nothing. Blake also says that he, Cutler, and Ryker have been looking for an opportunity for a while now. Regal says they can have a tag match next week.

Backstage
EC3 is being attended to by referees after having been attacked. Lars Sullivan can be seen walking away in the background.

Backstage
Nikki Cross tells Regal that she knows who did it. She rambles on about knowing a secret when Bianca Belair walks in. Belair tells Regal that he needs to stop playing. He needs to give her a title shot. Cross wants one too.

Ring Area
Raul Mendoza heads to the ring for a match with EC3. Instead of EC3, Lars Sullivan comes out. Sullivan says he attacked EC3 and that Mendoza is in Lars Sullivan’s territory. Sullivan heads to the ring and destroys Mendoza.

Backstage
Tommaso Ciampa says he has surpassed all expectations. Not only has he destroyed Johnny Gargano, but he has captured the NXT Title. It takes a certain kind of main to climb to the top of the mountain, but it takes an even greater man to make his nest there. Ciampa says he’s just getting started, and no one will survive what’s coming next.

Match 2
Keith Lee vs Luke Menzies
(referee: Darryl Sharma)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Keith Lee wins via pinfall after a sit-out powerbomb
Time: 3:02

Match Thoughts
This was a fun squash. The powerbomb finish was extremely impressive.

Backstage
Ricochet and Pete Dunne walk side by side. Ricochet smiles, Dunne does not.

Match 3
Ricochet (NA Champ) & Pete Dunne (UK Champ) vs Adam Cole & Roderick Strong (NXT Tag Champ) w/ Kyle O’Reilly (NXT Tag Champ)
(referee: Tom Castor)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Adam Cole pins Pete Dunne after the Last Shot
Time: 9:49

Match Thoughts
Very good match! Undisputed Era began to have their way with Ricochet after a while, then Pete Dunne came in with an exciting burst of offense late in the match. In the chaos of the last few minutes, Ricochet and Dunne had a miscommunication which Cole and Strong quickly capitalized on. This was a ton of fun to watch.

Ring Area
After the match, the Undisputed Era mount a triple team assault on Ricochet. After a few seconds, the War Raiders head down to the ring. Undisputed Era leaves the ring and heads up the ramp as the War Raiders stare at them from the ring.

Show Impressions
This was a strong show. It had just enough story building and some very solid matches. The only thing I didn’t really care about was the Lars Sullivan stuff.

Match of the Night
Ricochet & Dunne vs Cole & Strong
Neither are usual tag team, but the Undisputed Era showed how well they work as a whole unit in this great main event.
