Match 1
Io Shirai & Dakota Kai vs Jessamyn Duke & Marina Shafir
(referee: Jessika Carr)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Io Shirai pins Marina Shafir after a diving moonsault
Time: 4:26

Match Thoughts
Pretty good match. Duke and Shafir looked okay for their first match. From this outing, Duke definitely seemed to be the stronger performer on her team. Kai was very aggressive in the match, an Shirai pretty much had her way with Shafir. It was interesting to see how handily Kai and Shirai dispatched Duke and Shafir. I enjoyed it.

A promo for Dijakovic. He’s coming up next.

Outside the Venue
Matt Riddle isn’t happy about Kassius Ohno did to him two weeks ago, but he understands it. He also dares Ohno to step into the ring with him again.

Match 2
Aaron Mackey vs Dominik Dijakovic
(referee: Chris Sharpe)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Dijakovic wins via pinfall after a torture rack dropped into a knee strike to the face
Time: 1:47

Match Thoughts
Pretty good match. This was the debut for this version of Dijak’s character, and I think it was fine. He’s a little over-the-top with his face being super angry, but I know Dijak is good, so hopefully he can find a good groove for this character. This match was all about Dijakovic throwing Mackey all around the ring.

Heavy Machinery enjoys beating people up and having a good time. Also, steaks and weights.

Match 3
Heavy Machinery vs Blake Howell & Danny D’Accardo
(referee: DA Brewer)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Tucker Knight pins Danny D’Accardo after multiple Compactors
Time: 2:23

Match Thoughts
A complete squash, though I did enjoy Heavy Machinery hitting multiple Compactors once the Undisputed Era came out to the stage to watch the match.

Aleister Black warms up for a fight.

Outside the Venue
Johnny Gargano also prepares for tonight’s main event.

Match 4
Steel Cage Match
Aleister Black vs Johnny Gargano
(referee: Darryl Sharma; outside referee: Tom Castor)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Johnny Gargano wins via pinfall after Meet in the Middle (with Tommaso Ciampa)
Time: 17:58

Match Thoughts
Great match. It was as brutal and emotional as I could’ve hoped for. The fight went back and forth with both men getting in a lot of good offense. The match culminated in a strong piece of storytelling when Tommaso Ciampa showed up. No words were spoken, but the actions raised a lot of questions that will be entirely entertaining to find out the answers to.

Show Impressions
Good show. The main event was deservedly the centerpiece, but the matches prior to it were fun (if somewhat short). The saga of Gargano, Ciampa, and Black continues to be the best thing in all of WWE right now.

Match of the Night
Steel Cage Match
They hit some of the expected beats, but watching Gargano and Black fight each other is beautiful every time.
