Video
Tony Nese talks about fighting to build 205 Live since the very first episode. 205 Live is his show, and he’s not going to sit around until his match with Daivari. If Drew Gulak wants a fight tonight, then Nese will give it to him.

Drew Gulak says his plan to take over 205 Live might not have gone according to plan, but all it takes is one opportunity to change someone’s fortune. With one outlier, Gulak has dominated Tony Nese. Tonight, Gulak will beat the champ.

Result: Lince Dorado pins Sunil Singh after a shooting star press
Time: 9:36

Match Thoughts
This was fun. It’s good to see the Singhs back in a place where they can wrestle and be (mostly) taken seriously.

Backstage
Drake Maverick gives Humberto Carrillo some advice. He tells Carrillo to steer clear of Gulak. Jack Gallagher walks up and also congratulates Carrillo. Gallagher says he holds no ill will towards Carrillo, but he thinks they have some unfinished business as competitors. Gallagher and Carrillo shake hands.

Ring Area
The Brian Kendrick comes out for a match. Before Kendrick can make it off the stage, Mike Kanellis attacks him from behind. Almost immediately, Akira Tozawa attacks Kanellis. The brawl makes it down to ringside where referees and Drake Maverick pull the two men apart.

Video
Via Twitter, Ariya Daivari gloats about his recent victories. He also says that Tony Nese is going to get ripped apart by Drew Gulak tonight. All this is leading to Daivari becoming the next Cruiserweight Champ.

Match 2
Drew Gulak vs Tony Nese (Cruiserweight Champ)
(referee: Ryan Tran; watching in the back: Ariya Daivari)

Result: Tony Nese wins via pinfall after the Running Nese in the corner
Time: 17:23

Match Thoughts
Very good match. This was a great fight. It could have been a title match, and I hope this matchup will be a title match at some point.

Show Impressions
I liked this show very much. I love that the Singh Brothers are going to be wrestling actual matches again. That makes me very happy. I also really enjoyed the match between Nese and Gulak. I feel like (and/or hope) Drew Gulak is in a slump that will propel him to a higher status once he starts getting some wins again.

Match of the Night
Drew Gulak vs Tony Nese
These two men have a really enjoyable long-term feud going on.
