Match 1
Breezango vs Chase Parker & Matt Martel
(referee: DA Brewer)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Fandango pins Chase Parker after the Fashion Faux Pas
Time: 4:09

Match Thoughts
This wasn’t a squash, but it was definitely an exhibition for the newly redesigned Breezango. Fandango looks good after more than a year away, and Breeze looks energized to have his partner back. Also, Breezango finally ditched Fandango’s entrance music in favor of an original team theme.

Outside the Venue
Earlier today, Jordan Myles told Cathy Kelley that he’s nervous about his title shot tonight, but he’s ready. Keith Lee is supportive of Myles heading into his match.

Outside the Venue
As Nigel McGuinness is talking about tonight’s main event, the show cuts to a camera outside Full Sail Arena. Io Shirai is beating on Candice LeRae with a kendo stick. Referee Drake Wuertz arrives and chases Shirai away, but LeRae is hurt.

Outside the Venue
Earlier today, Cameron Grimes was upset with himself for not winning the Breakout Tournament. Grimes is at the bottom, but his goal is to be the champion.

Match 2
Velveteen Dream (NA Champ) vs Kona Reeves
(referee: Jessika Carr)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Velveteen Dream wins via pinfall after the Dream Valley Driver
Time: 4:02

Match Thoughts
Pretty good match. Reeves had some decent offense early in the match, but Dream didn’t really have any problem tonight. This was a good, easy win for the North American champ.

Ring Area
After the match, Roderick Strong appears on the video screen. Strong says he’s ready to face The Dream, but he wonders if Dream is ready to face Roderick Strong. The camera pulls back to reveal that Strong has burned Dream’s couch. Dream isn’t happy.

Video
A look at Rhea Ripley, her history in NXT UK, and her confrontation of Shayna Baszler last week.

Match 3
Taynara vs Bianca Belair
(referee: Drake Wuertz)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Bianca Belair wins via pinfall after the KOD
Time: 5:40

Match Thoughts
Good match. Taynara was very aggressive, and she took a quick lead in the match. Bianca used her strength to change the momentum of the match, and Bianca was the aggressor for the latter part of the match. This was a fun battle that was more of a brawl than I expected it to be.

Backstage
Adam Cole smiles as he gets ready to head to the ring for his title defense.

Backstage
William Regal announces an upcoming triple threat match to determine the number one contender for Shayna Baszler’s NXT Women’s Title. The competitors will be Mia Yim, Bianca Belair, and Io Shirai.

Match 4
NXT Title Match
Jordan Myles vs Adam Cole (NXT Champ)
(referee: Eddie Orengo)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Adam Cole wins via pinfall after the Last Shot
Time: 14:37

Match Thoughts
Great match. Cole grounded and dominated Myles for the first part of the match. Myles would try various moves, but Cole would repeatedly put Myles in a headlock and take him down to the mat. Cole was playing with Myles, and for a while it seemed like Cole might breeze his way to a victory. Myles hung around though, and he hung around long enough to start putting together some good offense. Myles hit some great sequences late in the match that led to some fun near falls, but Cole was able to put together some brutal combinations that floored Myles. This, combines with his performance in the Breakout Tournament, was a great way to introduce Myles to the NXT audience.

Show Impressions
This was a fun show. The undercard matches were entertaining though not terribly surprising, and the main event was very good.

Match of the Night
Jordan Myles vs Adam Cole
I don’t expect Myles will get another NXT Title shot soon, but a prolonged climb back into contention could be a great story for him.
