Show/Hide Match Previews

Match 1
Jimmy Havoc vs Marko Stunt w/ Luchasaurus, Jungle Boy
(referee: Mike Posey)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Jimmy Havoc wins via pinfall after the Acid Rainmaker
Time: 7:32

Match Thoughts
Good match. Stunt had some quick offensive sequences throughout the match which was fun, but Havoc was punishing in his attacks. The finish wasn’t much of a surprise, but I liked the match regardless. Mel and Luther made their presence known early in the match to stare down at Havoc but they didn’t stick around to actually do anything in the match.

Empty Arena
Tony Shiavone and Dasha Gonzalez talk about tonight’s matches.

Match 2
Evil Uno & Stu Grayson w/ John Silver, Alex Reynolds vs CIMA & T-Hawk
(referee: Aubrey Edwards)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Evil Uno pins T-Hawk after the Fatality
Time: 8:34

Match Thoughts
Good match. Stronghearts brought speed to the match, but Dark Order has some really good teamwork. This was a fun match, but I’d like to see Stronghearts move up a bit in the tag division.

Match 3
Falls Count Anywhere Match
“Superbad” Kip Sabian w/ Penelope Ford vs “The Bad Boy” Joey Janela
(referee: Rick Knox)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Joey Janela wins via pinfall after a kendo stick shot to Sabian’s head
Time: 12:29

Match Thoughts
Very good match. Janela started the match with a groin shot to Sabian on the stage, and the violence just continued from there. They took a trip through the crowd early in the match which consisted of a lot of walking and punching, but once they got to the ring the match picked up. Multiple tables were used, Penelope Ford got involved, Janela hit a bit boot with a fan’s leg, and there was a nasty-looking kendo stick shot late in the match. This definitely felt like a grudge match.

Backstage
QT Marshall and Dustin Rhodes say they have a special weapon for their tag match tonight.

Match 4
“The Chairman” Shawn Spears w/ Tully Blanchard & “The Librarian” Peter Avalon w/ “The Librarian” Leva Bates vs QT Marshall & “The Natural” Dustin Rhodes w/ Brandi Rhodes
(referee: Bryce Remsburg)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Dustin Rhodes pins Peter Avalon after a combination Dominator (Rhodes) and running cutter (Marshall)
Time: 11:39

Match Thoughts
Good match. QT Marshall and Dustin Rhodes make for an interesting team. They looked good together and even have some nice team continuity. Of course, we know Spears and Avalon don’t work well together, and they didn’t fare too well again here tonight. The hunt for a tag partner for Spears will continue.

Show Impressions
I think Janela versus Sabian should have been the main event, but that’s a minor complaint. The whole show was good tonight. It was nice to see Brandi with Dustin and Marshall. It looks like she’s completely done with the Nightmare Collective, and I’m fine with that.

Match of the Night
Kip Sabian vs Joey Janela
I like a good grudge match, and that’s exactly what this was.
