Match 1
Luther vs “The Concrete Rose” Sonny Kiss
(referee: Rick Knox)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Luther wins via submission with the Face Lifter
Time: 5:13

Match Thoughts
Pretty good match. I don’t know that Kiss and Luther were 100% on the same wavelength in this match, but it was still entertaining. Kiss had lots of kicks, and Luther tried to counter with his power and his ability to absorb punishment. I’m not sure that I like Luther’s go-to submission though. It hardly looks like a legal pro wrestling hold.

Ring Area
After the match, Jimmy Havoc runs down to the ring. Luther rolls out and walks away before Havoc can touch him.

Empty Arena
Tony Shiavone and Dasha Fuentes are excited for AEW Revolution. They’re also excited to be working with Excalibur and Taz.

Match 2
Stu Grayson & Evil Uno w/ John Silver, Alex Reynolds vs “The Librarian” Peter Avalon w/ “The Librarian” Leva Bates & Michael Nakazawa
(referee: Mike Posey)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Evil Uno pins Michael Nakazawa after the Fatality
Time: 2:56

Match Thoughts
This was fun. It was a comedy match (at least from the side of Avalon and Nakazawa), and I liked it. Dark Order was, of course, dominant, and they didn’t take much time finishing the match once they got going.

A look at the feud between Cody and MJF.

Empty Arena
Tony Shiavone and Dasha Gonzalez talk about some upcoming shows.

Match 3
Miranda Alize vs Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D.
(referee: Aubrey Edwards)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Britt Baker wins via submission with Lockjaw
Time: 5:18

Match Thoughts
Pretty good match. It was an exhibition for Baker, but Miranda looked fine getting beaten up.

Match 4
Brandon Cutler & “The Chairman” Shawn Spears w/ Tully Blanchard vs Private Party
(referee: Bryce Remsburg)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Isaiah Kassidy pins Brandon Cutler after Gin & Juice
Time: 9:24

Match Thoughts
Good match. Brandon Cutler was the MVP of this match, but of course Shawn Spears didn’t care. Cutler looked really good, and he often had to battle both members of Private Party by himself. That led to a unique scenario where Spears took a walk, but Cutler started hitting some big moves that could have potentially won the match had his partner been working with him. So yeah, this match finally made Spears’ search for a partner pretty interesting.

Empty Arena
Tony Shiavone and Dasha Gonzlaez close out the how by reminding us once again about AEW Revolution tomorrow night.

Show Impressions
This was a pretty good episode. Nothing super special that you need to see, but I enjoyed it fine.

Match of the Night
Cutler & Spears vs Private Party
The other matches tonight didn’t have a lot to them, but the main event was good.
