Video
A look at the Inner Circle’s attack on Jon Moley last week on Dynamite.

Backstage
Tony Shiavone asks Adam Page who his tag partner will be this week since Kenny Omega is out of action. The Young Bucks are also there, and Page says there is no way he’d pick Matt Jackson to team with. But maybe Nick Jackson could be his partner? For now, it’s a mystery.

Match 1
Ortiz w/ Santana vs “The American Nightmare” Cody w/ Brandi Rhodes, Arn Anderson
(referee: Paul Turner)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Cody wins via submission with a Figure Four
Time: 11:33

Match Thoughts
Very good match. Ortiz versus Cody was already entertaining, but the addition of having Jake Roberts and Lance Archer come out and sit in the front row during the match added a ton of extra tension. Cody was able to stay focused though, so his fight with Ortiz didn’t get too overwhelming (until Santana inevitably interfered). I think this was a nice first step towards the Blood & Guts match coming up between The Elite and the Inner Circle.

Ring Area
After the match, Santana attacks Cody. Arn Anderson gets into the ring to stand between Cody and Santana, then Matt Jackson and Kenny Omega run out to make sure no further attacks happen.

Santana and Ortiz leave, but Chris Jericho, Jake Hager, and Sammy Guevara appear on the screen. Jericho reminds The Elite that the Inner Circle has put the entire AEW locker room on notice. Jericho also reveals that they’ve attacked Nick Jackson. Nick is trapped under a metal door and is bleeding from the mouth.

Backstage
Matt Jackson, Kenny Omega, Cody, Brandi, and Dustin Rhodes arrive to check on Nick. They get Nick out from underneath the door, and medical staff attend to him. Nick is stretchered and taken away an ambulance.

Match 2
Kris Statlander & Hikaru Shida vs Bea Priestley & “The Native Beast” Nyla Rose (AEW Women’s Champ)
(referee: Rick Knox)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Nyla Rose pins Hikaru Shida after the Beast Bomb
Time: 9:59

Match Thoughts
Good match. Rose and Priestley make for a powerful team, but Bea should probably stay away from the ropes and focus more on strikes and slams. Shida and Statlander are a nice team as well, and they worked together in some key points during the match. I think Shida really stood out tonight, though everyone looked good. This was a fun, back and forth tag battle. I really had no idea who would win, and that made it even more fun to watch.

Ring Area
After Statlander and Shida leave the ring, Priestley attacks Nyla Rose. She holds up the title for a minute before tossing it to Rose.

Video
Christopher Daniels presents a parody of Dark Order’s recruitment videos. He maintains that there is no Exalted One. He also challenges both Stu Grayson and Evil Uno to singles matches. After he beats both of them individually, he’ll prove that the Exalted One doesn’t exist.

Match 3
The Butcher & The Blade w/ The Bunny & MJF w/ Wardlow vs Jurassic Express
(referee: Aubrey Edwards)

Show/Hide Results

Result: MJF submits Marko Stunt with Salt of the Earth
Time: 11:52

Match Thoughts
Very good match. Jurassic Express have been great as a trio lately, but tonight’s battle was tough for them. Luchasaurus had some leg problems throughout the match that slowed him down at times, and Marko Stunt took a huge slam from The Butcher on the apron that took him out of a large portion of the match. Jungle Boy looked great as always, but he had to try to make up for his less-than-100% teammates. That’s a lot to ask when you’re facing The Butcher and The Blade. This was entertaining, and it made me really want to see a Luchasaurus versus The Butcher match.

Video
Darby Allin presents a video where he symbolically puts Sammy Guevara in a body bag and drags him behind a truck.

Ring Area
From the stage, Tony Shiavone welcomes Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D.. Baker insults the local crowd. She calls them fat with bad teeth. Also, she insinuates that they’re all inbred. Baker says she is here to be a role model and to lead by example.

As Baker continues to talk, Big Swole walks out with a microphone. Swole is tired of hearing Baker talk all the time. Baker wonders why Swole is even out here, saying the only person in her household any wrestling fans care about is her boyfriend. Swole says she is “married, bay bay.” Baker tosses Tony’s coffee in Swole’s fan, then Baker runs away. Referees stop Swole from chasing Baker to the backstage area.

Match 4
“The Bad Boy” Joey Janela & Private Party vs Death Triangle
(referee: Rick Knox)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Pac pins Joey Janela after the Black Arrow
Time: 11:55

Match Thoughts
Very good match. Death Triangle is an exciting team, and I am very much looking forward to the matches they are going to have as a unit. Janela and Private Party felt like they were thrown together to be a sacrifice for the Death Triangle, and they kind of were, but they looked surprisingly good together. I wouldn’t mind of they teamed up more in the future too. Janela and Private Party already had some tandem moves and good chemistry, and they had me believing that they might actually get the win tonight. This was fun.

Ring Area
After the match, Death Triangle continues to beat up their fallen opponents. After a few seconds, Best Friends and Orange Cassidy head to the ring. Death Triangle scatters and decides to walk away.

Backstage
Lexy Nair welcomes Dustin Rhodes. Dustin is in his gear, and he’s pissed off. He says he is going to be Adam Page’s partner regardless of whether he wants it or not. Dustin wants revenge on the Inner Circle.

Backstage
Adam Page warms up for his match.

Video
A look at some of the people on social media who are petitioning to be Shawn Spears’ tag partner.

Video
Earlier today, Jim Ross sat down with Jon Moxley. Moxley is pissed that he can’t be at Dynamite tonight because of the injuries he sustained at the hands of the Inner Circle last week.

Match 5
“The Spanish God” Sammy Guevara & “Le Champion” Chris Jericho w/ Jake Hager, Santana, Ortiz vs “Hangman” Adam Page (AEW Tag Champ) & “The Natural” Dustin Rhodes w/ Brandi Rhodes, QT Marshall
(referee: Bryce Remsburg)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Adam Page pins Sammy Guevara after the Buckshot Lariat
Time: 10:19

Match Thoughts
Very good match. Page didn’t want a tag partner tonight and told Dustin that before the opening bell, but they ended up working well together as a team. The Inner Circle cheated and gloated as much as they could, but they let Page and Rhodes hang around too long. Page and Rhodes had small bursts of offense throughout the match that built up to a fun finish.

Ring Area
Immediately after the match, the Inner Circle attacks Adam Page and Dustin Rhodes. After a few seconds, Kenny Omega (broken hand and all) runs to the ring to fight the Inner Circle. Omega is overwhelmed by the numbers. Cody runs out next, and he too goes down to the Inner Circle.

Adam Page is taken up to the stage where he is set up to be powerbombed off the stage just like Moxley was last week. Before that can happen, Matt Jackson runs out and saves Page. With the Inner Circle down, Matt looks at Page and flips him off. Matt then takes a chair shot to the head from Jericho. Page takes a chair shot as well, and the Inner Circle poses as the show goes off the air.

Show Impressions
Like last week, this felt very much like a story building show, but it does feel like things are heating up quickly. Stuff is going to start paying off pretty quickly it seems.

Match of the Night
Death Triangle vs Janela & Private Party
There was more drama in the main event, but this six-man was the more exciting match for me.
