Show/Hide Match Previews

Match 1
“The Librarian” Peter Avalon w/ “The Librarian” Leva Bates vs Colt Cabana
(referee: Paul Turner)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Colt Cabana wins via pinfall with the Superman pin
Time: 5:41

Match Thoughts
This was fun. It was a comedy match, but there was some good wrestling throughout as well. It’s nice having Cabana in AEW.

Outside the Venue
Tony Shiavone and Dasha Gonzalez wonder about Jon Moxley’s status.

Match 2
The Hybrid2 vs Brandon Cutler & Michael Nakazawa
(referee: Aubrey Edwards)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Jack Evans pins Michael Nakazawa after a diving 630 senton
Time: 6:24

Match Thoughts
Very good match. Brandon Cutler continues to be on a hot streak. He’s becoming the hot-tag guy of AEW Dark, and I like it. Nakazawa was up to his antics with his Turkish oil against both members of TH2 early in the match. Nakazawa did a lot of avoiding, but it wasn’t until Cutler got tagged in that their team really started to get some offense. This was fun. Also, I think we should be looking for a partner for Brandon Cutler, not for Shawn Spears.

Outside the Venue
Shiavone and Gonzalez talk about Ford versus Riho.

Match 3
Penelope Ford w/ Kip Sabian vs Riho
(referee: Bryce Remsburg)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Penelope Ford wins via pinfall with a bridging fisherman suplex
Time: 6:06

Match Thoughts
Good match. She had a ton of help from Sabian, but Ford did look good tonight. It seems like Riho is undergoing a bit of a rebuilding period.

Match 4
Stu Grayson w/ Evil Uno, John Silver, Alex Reynolds vs Christopher Daniels w/ Frankie Kazarian, Scorpio Sky
(referee: Mike Posey)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Christopher Daniels wins via pinfall with a counter to Grayson’s finisher
Time: 10:05

Match Thoughts
Very good match. The referee tossed all of the extra guys at ringside before the match even started, so this was a straight-up one on one match (mostly). Grayson was quick and aggressive, but Daniels was full of energy and experience. This was a nice back and forth battle that could have gone either way.

Ring Area
After the match, a creeper attacks Daniels. Grayson beats on Daniels too, then Silver and Reynolds join in. SCU and Colt Cabana run down to even the odds. Evil Uno comes out last. Daniels hits the BME on a creeper, and Dark Order retreats.

Show Impressions
This was a good show. I like that the Dark Order/SCU story is feeding from and into each week’s Dynamite.

Match of the Night
Stu Grayson vs Christopher Daniels
All the matches were good tonight, but I think this had the most intrigue.
