Intro Video

Match 1
Clark Connors & Karl Fredericks vs Misterioso & The DKC
(referee: Nick Bonanno)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Karl Fredericks pins The DKC after the MD (implant DDT)
Time: 7:39

Match Thoughts
Good match. Misterioso was fun, but The DKC seemed like he had something to prove after his loss to Rust Taylor last week. DKC looked very good in moments, but Connors and Fredericks are a very good team. They work well together, and Fredericks was looking to continue the momentum he started when he pinned Rocky Romero and got into a scuffle with Jeff Cobb two weeks ago. I particularly liked Fredericks’ strikes in this match. He hits hard, and it looks really good.

Ring Area
After the match, Jeff Cobb slides into the ring and hits Fredericks with a surprise German suplex. Cobb hits Connors as well, then he walks away. Cobb made a statement here tonight.

Backstage
Jeff Cobb says Karl Fredericks will not make a name at his expense.

Backstage
Clark Connors says he’s here to win, and he’s winning. Clark Connors is back.

Video
We see some commercials during a brief intermission.

Match 2
Rocky Romero vs “Filthy” Tom Lawlor
(referee: Jeremy Marcus)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Tom Lawlor wins via submission with a rear naked choke
Time: 9:38

Match Thoughts
Good match. Lawlor strikes well and he grapples well. I think he still has a little way to go in his transition from MMA to pro wrestling because it felt he was just letting Rocky do stuff at times (rather than trying to NOT let Rocky beat him up), but I think he had a good performance tonight.

Backstage
Tom Lawlor says there’s one person who’s safe when he’s in the ring, and that’s Tom Lawlor. Why? Because he’s filthier than everyone else.

Show Impressions
I think last week was a better show overall, but tonight’s was still good. I liked that they’re continuing to build the Fredericks/Cobb story over multiple episodes.

Match of the Night
Misterioso & The DKC vs Clark Connors & Karl Fredericks
I think this was a stronger overall match from start to finish than the main event.
