The season premiere of RAW was a mixed bag of fun surprises, returns, and new looks combined with stuff we’ve seen before with no real changes or progression.
The first round of King of the Ring continues, a new contender for the RAW Tag Titles is named, Natalya looks to get revenge on Sasha Banks, and more on an average episode of RAW.
The RAW Tag Titles were on the line in an exciting triple threat, at least one new 24/7 Champ was crowned, Brock Lesnar makes an example out of Seth Rollins, and a Samoan Summit erupts in fun violence on a good episode of RAW.
Paul Heyman promises that Brock Lesnar will cash in tonight, The Undertaker is scheduled to appear, and more on an okay episode of RAW.
Rollins and Styles sign the contract for their upcoming Universal Title match, the RAW participants in the Money in the Bank ladder matches are announced, and some mostly average matches took place on an okay episode of RAW.

SmackDown reaches 1,000 episodes with a fun night of appearances, returns, nostalgia, and a few good matches.
Despite some highlights, this wasn’t a great show. It felt like people were covering for lots of people who were taking vacation time, both wrestlers and writing staff.
This episode seemed light on story, and the main event wasn’t as good as lat week’s, but a very nice Tag Team Turmoil match helped make this show a decent one.
Payback 2017 had a number of good matches, and one match that will go down in history as unwatchable (in my opinion).
This pretty good episode of RAW was about 50/50 for good and underwhelming segments.
An okay show highlighted by a memorable (if somewhat recycled) moment.
The first ever WWE UK Champ is crowned in a very satisfying and entertaining night two of the WWE UK Title Tournament.
With two title matches and some minor developments in storylines, this was a fairly entertaining episode of RAW.
Roman Reigns tries to work his way into the Universal Title match at Clash of Champions, Jinder Mahal debuts a new, peaceful attitude, a number one contender is decided for Charlotte’s title, and more on a pretty good episode of RAW.
Not a bad show. It was entertaining even though the wrestling didn’t always seem to be the first thing on the writers’ minds.
