This was better than their match in February, and it actually paid of a tease they started back then. I was frustrated that they teased a superplex back in their February match, but they actually did it here. And it broke the ring. It was a very fun moment and a good way to end a decent big-man match.

Show Impressions
This was a fine show. Nothing special and it felt a little long which isn’t good, but it was fine. I think the Superstar Shakeup is making things weird right now. It’s like WWE is in kind of a holding pattern until Payback happens and they can move on to new feuds. For example, Bray Wyatt started something with Balor last week, but this week he ignores Balor and delivers a sermon to Randy Orton instead. It’s weird.

Match of the Night
Braun Strowman vs Big Show
It wasn’t the most impressive match athletically, but the sheer spectacle of this makes it memorable. No, it wasn’t the first time we’ve seen the ring break like that (it’s happened twice before with Big Show in pretty much the exact same way), but it was still a lot of fun. This match felt important for both guys involved, one rising to the top and one headed toward the twilight of his career.

Watching the show, I noticed that the ring posts didn’t have the silly LED light covers and the apron was missing the LED board. I thought that was a little odd but welcomed the change since I’m not really a fan of all those lights being added to the ring. The ring collapse made the change make sense though. The collapse also helped make sense Big Show and Strowman’s odd insistence that the ring steps be removed from their positions. It allowed the posts to fly outward unencumbered.

[487,297,622
1049,892,540,463,660,329,547,832,32,38,511,489,495,492,916,65,535,1201,557,629,435,250,689,394,659,839,655,379,846,55,503,932,1013,111,468,532,526,610,20,824,102,135,87,186,871,559,513,538,310,9,691,464,170,533,436,183,1199,564,375,888,7,1200
post-2224","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-raw-tv-report","category-show-results","category-wwe","tag-adam-pearce","tag-akira-tozawa","tag-alexa-bliss","tag-alicia-fox","tag-apollo-crews","tag-austin-aries","tag-bayley","tag-big-cass","tag-big-show","tag-booker-t","tag-braun-strowman","tag-bray-wyatt","tag-cesaro","tag-chad-patton","tag-charly-caruso","tag-chris-jericho","tag-corey-graves","tag-curt-hawkis","tag-dana-brooke","tag-darrick-moore","tag-dean-ambrose","tag-dule-hill","tag-elias-samson","tag-emma","tag-enzo-amore","tag-fatal-four-way-match","tag-finn-balor","tag-fit-finlay","tag-golden-truth","tag-goldust","tag-heath-slater","tag-jack-gallagher","tag-jamie-noble","tag-jeff-hardy","tag-john-cone","tag-jojo","tag-kalisto","tag-karl-anderson","tag-kurt-angle","tag-luke-gallows","tag-maryse","tag-matt-hardy","tag-michael-cole","tag-mickie-james","tag-mike-rome","tag-miz-tv","tag-neville","tag-nia-jax","tag-r-truth","tag-raw","tag-rhyno","tag-rod-zapata","tag-samoa-joe","tag-sasha-banks","tag-seth-rollins","tag-sheamus","tag-the-hardy-boyz","tag-the-miz","tag-titus-oneil","tag-tj-perkins","tag-wwe","tag-wwe-raw-womens-title-number-one-contender-match
["GET
