Garza started the match strong by tripping Myles of the side of the ring when he pulled the apron, but Myles started coming back and chipping away at the confident Angel Garza. This was a fun match and already has me looking forward to the finals (and more wrestling from both of these guys in NXT).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Ring Area<\/em><\/span><br \/>\nAfter the match, Shane Thorne takes Mauro Ranallo&#8217;s headset and wonders what the point of the Breakout Tournament is when Thorne is here and not being utilized. Thorne doesn&#8217;t need a Breakout Tournament. He&#8217;s going to break out on his own.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Backstage<\/em><\/span><br \/>\nJohnny Gargano does a Ciampa-style promo where he sets up his own camera in a random place in the backstage area. Belair needed a strong match after losing her feud to Mia Yim, and Belair definitely looked strong tonight. Belair dominated Li right from the opening bell with power and speed. Belair started to make an example out of Li which allowed Li to fight back for a moment, but Belair quickly regained control in this short, pretty fun match.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Video<\/em><\/span><br \/>\nKillian Dain explains that he attacked Matt Riddle because Riddle is disciplined while there are no rules for Dain (or something like that). Dain wanted to welcome Riddle to his world.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Video<\/em><\/span><br \/>\nIn security footage from the WWE Performance Center, Mia Yim brutally attacked Jessamyn Duke after a training session.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Ring Area<\/em><\/span><br \/>\nVelveteen Dream heads to the ring. Dream says the only way he will give up the North American Title is when the Dream dies. It would be hell for Dream to not have the title, but Roderick Strong is not big enough to take Dream down.<\/p>\n<p>Roderick Strong heads to the ring. Strong says he nows that Velveteen Dream is scared of him. Strong demands a title shot from Dream at Takeover: Toronto. That&#8217;s where the experience will die, and that&#8217;s undisputed.<\/p>\n<p>Pete Dunne comes out before Dream can respond. As Dunne enters the ring, Strong points in Dunne&#8217;s face. Dunne twists Strong&#8217;s fingers and sends Strong out of the ring. Dunne then stares at Dream until Dream exits the ring and walks away.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Backstage<\/em><\/span><br \/>\nRoderick Strong drags a cameraman with him as he asks William Regal what Pete Dunne is doing inserting himself into Strong&#8217;s opportunity at the North American Title. Regal says Johnny Saint has allowed Dunne to be part of NXT for a while, so Dunne will be added to the North American Title match at Takeover: Toronto. Strong is angry, and he says he wants to face Dunne next week to ensure he won&#8217;t make it to Takeover. Shirai completely dominated Catanzaro up to that point though.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Ring Area<\/em><\/span><br \/>\nAfter the match, Candice LeRae continues her assault on Io Shirai. LeRae beats up Shirai around ringside, but when LeRae goes to grab a chair Shirai is able to escape up the ramp.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Backstage<\/em><\/span><br \/>\nAdam Cole is tired of NXT management trying to screw over the Undisputed Era. Regardless of who Roderick Strong has to face for the North American Title though, Cole knows Strong will win. Lee looked good, and Priest looked okay. Lee showed impressive strength and agility while Priest showed less of the same. Hopefully Lee can use this match as a starting point to becoming angry and aggressive so he can get some big matches over the next few months.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Show Impressions<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nThis was an okay show.
