Rollins says the last few weeks have been the toughest of his career. He says Lesnar truly is a beast in the ring, but when Rollins was out of energy, the fans came alive. The WWE Universe took Rollins to a place that only “we” could go together, and in that moment Rollins knew he could slay the beast.

When Rollins holds up the Universal Title, The OC comes out and heads to the ring. There were a ton of matches and not all of them were great, but I appreciate more wrestling on the show (at least in theory). Most of the story segments began or ended with a match, so even though some of the matches barely qualified as wrestling matches, it still felt like a wrestling show.

Specific moments I really enjoyed were the Sasha Banks return, the Cedric/McIntyre match, and Samoa Joe talking down to Sami Zayn. I also like the women’s tag match, though I didn’t like the inevitable ending. One of the only things I really didn’t like tonight was the Miz/Ziggler segment. I just don’t get it.

Match of the Night
Cedric Alexander vs Drew McIntyre
I got the most invested in this match. Easily. It was also the longest match of the night by a good few minutes.

Official Results: https://www.wwe.com/shows/raw/2019-08-12

This good episode of RAW featured a surprise return, a champ versus champ match, and a fun underdog match between Cedric Alexander and Drew McIntyre among other varied moments.

[487,297,622
234,540,2363,936,556,633,511,1716,537,2748,786,492,916,535,302,518,629,1146,553,160,1878,539,182,942,1679,2456,872,2457,468,2518,1759,526,610,891,1926,824,87,871,680,1654,294,1095,885,1715,356,310,9,451,190,715,2465,464,480,170,2175,533,2096,552,2747,436,128,1653,564,2731,830,375,1714,818,2464,7,2417,305,1675
post-6418","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-raw-tv-report","category-show-results","category-wwe","tag-aj-styles","tag-alexa-bliss","tag-andrade","tag-angelo-dawkins","tag-asuka","tag-becky-lynch","tag-braun-strowman","tag-canada","tag-carmella","tag-carter-mason","tag-cedric-alexander","tag-chad-patton","tag-charly-caruso","tag-corey-graves","tag-curt-hawkins","tag-dan-engler","tag-darrick-moore","tag-darryl-sharma","tag-dash-wilder","tag-dolph-ziggler","tag-drake-maverick","tag-drake-wuertz","tag-drew-mcintyre","tag-ec3","tag-elias","tag-erik","tag-gran-metalik","tag-ivar","tag-john-cone","tag-kabuki-warriors","tag-kairi-sane","tag-kalisto","tag-karl-anderson","tag-lince-dorado","tag-lucha-house-party","tag-luke-gallows","tag-michael-cole","tag-mike-rome","tag-mojo-rawley","tag-montez-ford","tag-natalya","tag-nikki-cross","tag-no-way-jose","tag-ontario-canada","tag-paul-heyman","tag-r-truth","tag-raw","tag-renee-young","tag-rey-mysterio","tag-ricochet","tag-robert-roode","tag-rod-zapata","tag-sami-zayn","tag-samoa-joe","tag-sarah-schreiber","tag-sasha-banks","tag-scotiabank-arena","tag-scott-dawson","tag-sebastian-suave","tag-seth-rollins","tag-steve-austin","tag-street-profits","tag-the-miz","tag-the-oc","tag-the-revival","tag-titus-oneil","tag-toronto-ontario-canada","tag-two-out-of-three-falls-match","tag-viking-raiders","tag-wwe","tag-wwe-womens-tag-team-title-match","tag-zack-ryder","tag-zelina-vega
["GET
