Earlier today, Andrea D’Marco asked Roderick Strong and No Way Jose about helping Tye Dillinger against SAnitY last week. Strong doesn’t like bullying and ganging up on people, and Jose felt the need to defend Dillinger or else SAnitY would do the same thing to the rest of the NXT roster.
Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa head to the ring. They talk about winning the titles then losing them. They say they saw doubt in the eyes of the Authors of Pain, and they want their title rematch. Paul Ellering comes out with Akam and Rezar and grants DIY a match. DIY wants to have the match right now, but The Revival attacks them from behind. The Authors of Pain rush into the ring, chasing away The Revival.

Trent Seven vs Tyler Bate (UK Champ)
(referee: Drake Wuertz)
Result: Tyler Bate wins via pinfall after a Tyler Driver ’97 to retain the title

Good match. It was long enough so that they were able to build the match well. It started with a little light comedy. Both guys were playing with each other, starting the match in a friendly way. After a certain point it got more serious. Both men pulled off some powerful moves in short bursts. The finish was led up to nicely.
This was an entertaining show thanks mostly to the UK Title match. The other matches weren’t great, but they weren’t long either. The rest of the show seemed to be setting up storylines for later, so not much happened, but it wasn’t bad.

UK Title Match
Quite a good match. It was fun, it had a lot of personality, and it worked its way up to a fairly competitive match, though it still mostly friendly throughout.
