Intro Video
“Hail to the Crown” by CFO$ featuring From Ashes to New

Ring Area
Jack Gallagher heads to the ring. He talks about TJ Perkins attacking him last night on RAW, and of the man who came to his aid, Austin Aries. Aries heads to the ring. Gallagher thanks Aries and tells Aries that he owes him. He will make sure that Aries makes it to his title match with Neville unscathed. Gallagher then gets a couple of beers and toasts Aries in the traditional English way.

Neville interrupts the toast and heads towards the ring. Neville tells Gallagher that he is a symptom of a larger problem. He says that England (and the people in the crowd) has become a parody of itself. Aries reminds Neville that he got himself intentionally disqualified in his last title defense. TJ Perkins then attacks Aries from behind.

Neville runs to the ring and attacks Gallagher. The four of them brawl, with Aries and Gallagher eventually getting the better of Neville and Perkins. Gallagher and Aries finish their toast as Neville and Perkins back away.

Backstage
Rich Swann encounters Noam Dar and Alicia Fox. Swann questions Dar for getting back with Fox, but Dar warns Swann that he’s going to get what he deserves for trying to break them up.

Match 1
Tony Nese vs Mustafa Ali
(referee: Dan Engler; watching in the back: Drew Gulak)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Mustafa Ali wins via pinfall after an imploding 450 splash
Time: 10:45

Match Thoughts
Good match. Ali and Nese work well together with their combination of high-flying versus power. Both guys looked great in this one, and I really liked how Nese focused his attack on Ali’s chest after dropping him onto the barricade and the announce table fairly early in the match.

Backstage
Ariya Daivari complains that his boots weren’t shined well, so he refuses to pay the guy who did it. As he walks away, he runs into Akira Tozawa. Tozawa barks at Daivari until he walks away.

Video
Cedric Alexander is coming back to 205 Live.

Match 2
The Brain Kendrick vs Akira Tozawa
(referee: Ryan Tran)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Akira Tozawa wins via pinfall with a roll-up counter to Sliced Bread Number Two
Time: 9:43

Match Thoughts
Very good match. This felt like an important match, and the action in the ring supported that feeling. Both guys looked great, and this seemed to be one of the more straightforward and hard-hitting matches between these two. The last few minutes of this match were fantastic, and it could have believably gone either way multiple times.

Ring Area
After the match, Kendrick attacks Tozawa. Kendrick pins Tozawa between the two parts of the ring steps and repeatedly kicks and stomps him. Kendrick gets on the mic and says this is the last lesson: “Nobody messes with The Brian Kendrick.”

Show Impressions
This was a really good show. Both matches were highly entertaining, and there was a good amount of story development and backstage segments. It was a great balance.

Match of the Night
The Brian Kendrick vs Akira Tozawa
They’ve been building towards this match, and I think it delivered. Although, I don’t think the feud is over, which I’m perfectly fine with.
