Last night on RAW, TJP and Neville beat Gallagher and Aries in a tag match. Afterwards, Neville told TJP that there is still work to be done. Specifically, Neville strongly insinuates that TJP should work on Austin Aries’ knee.

Backstage
Dasha Fuentes welcomes Austin Aries. Aries says TJP’s hopes for a title shot are futile because Neville is a liar, and Aries will not be taken out by TJP.

Match 1
Noam Dar w/ Alicia Fox vs Gran Metalik
(referee: Dan Engler)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Noam Dar wins via pinfall after a Scottish Supernova Kick
Time: 8:57

Match Thoughts
Good match. Dar had a tough time with Metalik, but he did manage to stop a lot of Metalik’s flying during the match. It was also good seeing Metalik on the show. It seems lately they’ve had the same (or similar) matchups every week. We need to see more of people like Metalik and Lince Dorado.

Backstage
Dasha Fuentes welcomes The Brian Kendrick. Kendrick says that his upcoming street fight with Tozawa (next week) fits right into his plans. Kendrick wasn’t planning on Tozawa being so stubborn and enamored with the WWE Universe. If Tozawa didn’t learn anything from Kendrick’s lessons, then the street fight might be his last fight on 205 Live.

Video
Cedric Alexander is coming back to 205 Live next week.

Ring Area
Tony Nese heads to the ring for a rematch with Mustafa Ali. Ali comes out next, but as he’s heading down the ramp Drew Gulak attacks him from behind. Gulak runs Ali into the ring post. He puts Ali into the corner, allowing Tony Nese to hit Ali with a running knee to the face. Ali appears to be unconscious.

** Seems kind of hypocritical that Gulak wants people to stop flying for safety, but he’ll perpetrate dangerous head shots at the same time. Heels can tend to be hypocritical though, so yeah, good job, Gulak. **

Backstage
Dasha Fuentes asks Rich Swann about Noam Dar and Alicia Fox. Swann says he already proved his point and wants to stay as far away from them as possible. A courier arrives with a package for Swann. Swann says that he isn’t Richard Swann, Ariya Daivari is Richard Swann.

Daivari gets the package but doesn’t open it. When Daivari walks away, Jack Gallagher walks up and is about to open the package. Daivari comes back and claims it for himself. When Daivari opens the package he gets a face full of powder. Daivari gets angry.

Tom Phillips laughs and says “poof” a few times, cracking up himself and Corey Graves.

Match 2
TJP vs Austin Aries
(referee: Danilo Anfibio)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Austin Aries wins via submission with the Last Chancery
Time: 12:26

Match Thoughts
Another good match between these two. This felt like a continuation of what we’ve seen before, but but was still enjoyable to watch.

Ring Area
Immediately after the match, Neville attacks Aries. He focuses on Aries’ knee, locking Aries in a leg submission. Jack Gallagher runs to the ring to break up the hold, but the damage has already been done to Aries’ knee.

Show Impressions
This show felt a little light on matches, but I enjoyed it. Even though we’ve seen the main event matchup a few times already, I still like the matches they put on. I also am really liking everything that Alicia Fox and Noam Dar are doing. With tonight and RAW, this was a good week for them.

Match of the Night
TJP vs Austin Aries
It feels almost like the feud is between Perkins and Aries and not Neville and Aries, but I like the matches we’re being given. This was another good one.
