Ok so I was a little ahead of the curve on my prediction for a live mariachi band at Wrestlemania. Perhaps I will get my wish of Los Lobos playing Alberto Del Rio to the ring in Atlanta.
LOVE the fact that they referenced the fact that Alberto injured Christian on television. That gets me all ready to go for a Del Rio/Edge match at Mania. Perhaps that action will come back to haunt ADR on the biggest stage in the world.
So did I hear that right that there will be a one on one WWE title match at the Elimination Chamber PPV?! So now we are going back to having a #1 contender chamber match…..OK! I’m in. This also means possibly that Edge WILL have to defend his title inside the chamber. Changing it up like that actually gives way more credence to the Royal Rumble match once again.
Once again the team of Kozlov & Santino surprise me. Don’t get me wrong, I love this team but I really thought they were going to put the tag straps on the Nexus team of Husky Harris & Michael McGilliogiggity.

I am so on board with giving Jerry “The King” Lawler his long overdue Wrestlemania match it’s not even funny…..just like Cole.

Alright so they could actually have the King win tonight and it make sense. First King gets the Miz at the Chamber, Cole costs him the match yet again. Then, because of this the GM lifts the ban on King beating up Cole and then King’s match at Wrestlemania is against the biggest heel in the company, Michael Cole! See this isn’t so hard to write.
How can you not be entertained by Cena? “You can do it!”
Oh yeah and this is not the first time there has been a Royal Rumble-esque match on Raw. In 1999 there was the Corporate Battle Royal with Vince, Boss Man, Ken Shamrock etc. against DX. This was the match that caused Chyna to be in the Rumble and draw #30 because she threw the previous #30 (Vince McMahon) over the top rope.

This is perfect and what a ballsy and classy move by Vince and Co. Lawler is finally getting the respect as a wrestler that he deserves. Yeah I know he won’t win but that’s not the point. The point is he HAS to go to Wrestlemania now because it makes sense now plus it may be against Cole. That will be ‘worth the drive’ just for that my friends.
