Result: Buddy Murphy wins via pinfall after Murphy’s Law
Time: 10:46

Match Thoughts
Good match. This built up nicely with both guys getting some big moves and kicking out of some pretty convincing pin attempts. I don’t think there was ever really a question about who would win, but the battle was fun to watch regardless.

Ring Area
After the match, Murphy says you can’t stop the unstoppable. Tonight was just an example of what he’ll do at Super Show-Down when he becomes the new Cruiserweight Champ.

Cedric Alexander wishes Mustafa Ali luck tonight. Ali wishes he was tagging with Alexander tonight, but Alexander is happy with his partner. Akira Tozawa looks over at Alexander and Ali and smiles.

Ring Area
Mustafa Ali heads to the ring for a match with some local talent. Before the match, Hideo Itami comes out and says he missed Ali. He hopes Ali is feeling better.

Match 2
Mustafa Ali vs Michael Thompson

Match Thoughts
Squash. Ali looked good.

Drake Maverick tells Drew Gulak and Jack Gallagher that he hopes their match tonight doesn’t fall into chaos. Gulak says the past is the past. Tonight’s match will be in honor of Brian Kendrick who is at home with an injury. Gulak also hopes to build a positive working relationship with Maverick after he becomes the Cruiserweight Champ.

Selfie Promo
Noam Dar tells Lio Rush needs to watch and understand why Dar made it to 205 Live at the age of 22, one year younger than Rush.

Selfie Promo
Lio Rush tells Noam Dar to keep his name out of his mouth. Rush has big things coming up, so Dar picked a bad tome to call him out.

Match 3
Gentleman Jack Gallagher & Drew Gulak vs Akira Tozawa & Cedric Alexander (Cruiserweight Champ)
(referee: Charles Robinson)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Drew Gulak forces Akira Tozawa to submit to the GuLock
Time: 12:39

Match Thoughts
Very good match. As the commentators said, Tozawa is having a rough summer, and it was pretty clear that he’d take the worst of this one. Everything was going fairly evenly, but Gulak and Gallagher showed their superior teamwork late in the match. This match also showed that Gulak is getting to Alexander and causing the champ to make mistakes because of his anger.

Kayla Braxton asks Drake Maverick for a reaction to the main event. Maverick says it’s clear that Gulak and Alexander want to fight, so next week they will compete in a Cruiserweight Title match on 205 Live.

Show Impressions
I liked this show. The matches might not have been as spectacular as some recent weeks, but they were very solid and entertaining.

Match of the Night
Gallagher & Gulak vs Tozawa & Alexander
Good action and some good story progression. I liked it.
