Match 1
Mark Andrews vs Joe Coffey w/ Mark Coffey
(referee: Joel Allen)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Joe Coffey wins via pinfall with a discus lariat
Time: 7:37

Match Thoughts
Good match. Mark Andrews flew around the ring trying to figure out how to take down the very stout Coffey. Andrews looked good at times, but at other times the power of Joe Coffey (and the threat of his brother Mark Coffey) was too much for Andrews to handle. This was a solid opening match with some nice exchanges.

Ring Area
After the match, the Coffey brothers stomp Mark Andrews. Flash Morgan Webster runs to the ring and chases the Coffeys away.

Outside the Venue
Earlier today, Tyler Bate and Trent Seven arrived at the venue.

Eddie Dennis has been wrestling for a long time, and he has some stories.

Ring Area
Moustache Mountain heads to the ring. Trent Seven says today is a very special day. It is possibly the most important day in British professional wrestling history. Everyone in Cambridge is witnessing the birth of NXT UK.

Tyler Bate says Moustache Mountain might not be the NXT Tag Champs anymore, but Triple H did say something about some NXT UK Championships. But are there really any other tag teams in NXT UK? Seven says the wrestlers in the back better be buddying up, because he expects some decent competition when the NXT UK Tag Titles are debuted.

Pete Dunne warms up.

Dave Mastiff plans to show the world why he is the best heavyweight in the world.

Noam Dar warms up.

Match 2
Sid Scala vs Dave Mastiff
(referee: Marc Parry)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Dave Mastiff wins via pinfall after a cannonball in the corner
Time: 1:57

Match Thoughts
A squash. Literally. Mastiff looks impressive.

Radzi Chinyanganya is with Nina Samuels. Nina says she deserves to be here, and she will be the first woman to hold the NXT UK Women’s Title.

Match 3
Nina Samuels vs Toni Storm
(referee: Chris Sharpe)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Toni Storm wins via pinfall after Storm Zero
Time: 4:10

Match Thoughts
Good match. It was short, but I liked it. Samuels dominated early, but Storm turned things around with a few powerful moves.

Match 4
WWE United Kingdom Title Match
Noam Dar vs Pete Dunne (UK Champ)
(referee: Darryl Sharma; at ringside: Johnny Saint)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Pete Dunne wins via pifall after the Bitter End
Time: 11:36

Match Thoughts
Great match. Dar really stood out and showed that he can hang with one of the best wrestlers in WWE today. Both men took and dealt a lot of punishment, and the exchanges towards the end of the match were really fun to watch. Both men excelled in what they do, and that made for an exciting main event for the first episode of NXT UK.

Show Impressions
This was definitely a good first show. It was entertaining top to bottom, and it has me excited to see how things develop from here.

Match of the Night
Pete Dunne vs Noam Dar
Noam Dar needs more title matches.
