Intro Video
“Hail to the Crown” by CFO$ featuring From Ashes to New

Match 1
Gentleman Jack Gallagher w/ Drew Gulak vs The Brian Kendrick
(referee: Dan Engler; guest commentary: Drew Gulak)

Show/Hide Results

Result: The Brian Kendrick wins via pinfall after Sliced Bread #2
Time: 6:14

Match Thoughts
Good match. Both men know each other well, and I think that showed. This was a good fight, and the appearance of Akira Tozawa near the end of the match was interesting.

Backstage
Drake Maverick explains to Cedric Alexander that he will get his rematch, but he’ll get it when he thinks Alexander is ready. Alexander is on a losing streak, and it would be unfair to everyone if Maverick gave Alexander his rematch right now. Alexander says he’s going to get back on track, and he wants his rematch.

Match 2
Gran Metalik w/ Kalisto, Lince Dorado vs Tyson Dean
(referee: Danilo Anfibio)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Gran Metalik wins via pinfall after a rope-walk diving elbow drop
Time: 1:05

Match Thoughts
Squash, but kind of fun.

Ring Area
After the match, TJP ambushes Gran Metalik and steals his mask. TJP runs away through the crowd before Kalisto and Lince Dorado can catch him.

Backstage
Kayla Braxton asks Buddy Murphy about his meeting with Drake Maverick. Murphy requested a match with Mark Andrews next week. Braxton then asks Murphy what will happen if Tony Nese earns a title shot, but Murphy says that’s none of her business.

Backstage
Mustafa Ali gets taped up in the trainer’s room.

Backstage
Dasha Fuentes welcomes Mike and Maria Kanellis. Maria takes the mic from Dasha and tells her to walk away. Mike begins to talk about beating Lince Dorado when TJP walks by. TJP offers to show Mike around, but Maria says she knows that TJP came for help with the Lucha House Party. Maria knows an opportunity when she sees one, so she and Mike go with TJP to talk some business.

Match 3
Cruiserweight Title Number One Contender Match
Mustafa Ali vs Tony Nese
(referee: Jason Ayers)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Mustafa Ali wins via pinfall with a jackknife cover
Time: 13:27

Match Thoughts
Very good match. The finish made sense, but it felt a little underwhelming given the rest of the match. Otherwise, I think this was great. Ali went into the match still hurting from last week’s fight with Itami, and Nese took advantage of that. It was a good underdog battle for Ali (like most of his matches).

Ring Area
After the match Cedric Alexander runs to the ring. Tony Nese leaves the ring and backs away. Alexander helps Ali get to his feet, and Alexander raises Ali’s hand. Buddy Murphy comes out to the stage and joins Tony Nese. Murphy doesn’t look worried.

Show Impressions
Good show. I think last week’s show was bigger, but this had some good matches and did some nice setup work for future action.

Match of the Night
Mustafa Ali vs Tony Nese
Hopefully Ali heals up some before facing Murphy.
