Three weeks ago, Dasha Fuentes asked Charlotte what it was like having Jeff Hardy as her new partner in the MMC. Charlotte says she’s known Jeff since she was in middle school, so it felt strange teaming with him. Jeff says it was fun to begin to compete in the MMC.
Backstage
Fabulous Truth joins Kayla and Vic. R-Truth says he and Carmella need to be reading the same page in the same book, and they’ve both started reading Eat, Pray, Love. Carmella says R-Truth has never read that book. Also, Carmella isn’t worried about Charlotte and Jeff Hardy. After all, Carmella has beaten Charlotte twice.

Three weeks ago, The Miz wanted to issue a formal complaint due to the last-minute replacement of Jeff Hardy as Charlotte’s partner. Asuka wants to know why The Miz didn’t help her in their match.
Backstage
Vic heads to ringside as Day One Glow joins Kayla. Naomi is used to working with Asuka and not against her, but she’d ready to face her best friend tonight. Jimmy Uso has been watching film on The Miz, including The Marine 6.

Match Thoughts
Pretty good match. I liked the finish, but that was definitely the best part of the match. The rest of the match wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either. I think it was kind of unremarkable, especially for a quarter final match.

Match Thoughts
Good match. Naomi and Asuka had some friendly competition that gradually turned into something a bit more heated. The Miz did fine up until he started talking to Asuka while he was still in the ring with Jimmy. Miz told Asuka that he didn’t want to tag her because he didn’t trust her anymore. That moment led to a finale that had Asuka and Naomi in the ring with a coupld of nice near falls.
Show Impressions
This was a pretty good episode of the MMC. It wasn’t great, but the second match was interesting and fun.

Day One Glow vs Awe-Ska
Better action and a better story in this one tonight.
