Match 1
Tyler Bate vs Gentleman Jack Gallagher
(referee: Drake Wuertz)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Tyler Bate wins via pinfall
Time: 9:47

Match Thoughts
Very good match. Jack Gallagher dominated Tyler Bate with superior mat skills. Gllagher was able to nearly completely negate Bate’s strength advantage by focusing on Bate’s legs throughout most of this match. Gallagher’s technique was super fun to watch. Bate came back with a fun segment towards the end of the match which definitely brought changed Gallagher’s methodical tone to something more light. It was a good balance though.

UK Performance Center
Jordan Devlin attacked Travis Banks at the UK Performance Center. Robbie Brookside along with some trainees had little success keeping Banks and Devlin apart.

Match 2
Kassius Ohno vs Walter
(referee: Chris Sharpe)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Walter wins via pinfall after a powerbomb
Time: 8:37

Match Thoughts
Good match. Ohno was probably Walter’s biggest challenge so far in NXT UK (both literally and figuratively). Ohno came at Walter with big strikes and kicks, and though the effects of Ohno’s attack seemed to be felt by Walter at first, after a certain point Walter started to push through the strikes. Ohno had a hard time figuring out how to put Walter down after a while. This was a good match for Walter. It showed him looking strong against someone more his size than anyone he’s faced in NXT UK so far.

Selfie Promo
Ligero says Joseph Conners didn’t lose to him because he had a bad day, he lost because he was too focused on the “shiny new toys.” Ligero says he’d happily beat Conners again.

Match 3
NXT UK Tag Team Title Match
Danny Burch & Oney Lorcan vs Grizzled Young Veterans (NXT UK Tag Champs)
(referee: Drake Wuertz)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Zack Gibson pins Danny Burch after Ticket to Mayhem
Time: 13:08

Match Thoughts
Very good match. Gibson and Drake had some great teamwork in this match. They used and abused the rules to their advantage in some very smart ways a few times. They also completely dominated Oney Lorcan for a long time in the first half of the match. After Lorcan finally tagged out, he was pretty much done for the rest of the match. Burch fought valiantly, and Lorcan did his best to help, but the unity of Gibson and Drake’s game plan was the deciding factor here tonight.

Show Impressions
This was a very good show. All the matches brought something different, and they were all very fun to watch.

Match of the Night
Jack Gallagher vs Tyler Bate
I think the main event was really good too, but personally, I loved watching Jack Gallagher twist Bate into all sorts of different shapes. This was extremely fun.
