Match Thoughts
Good match. This felt like it was an important step in deciding Tony Nese’s next challenger for the title, and I think it went well. All four men played to their strengths and looked good. It was dificult to pick a winner right up to the very end, and that made it fun to watch. I’m pretty much always going to pull for Akira Tozawa, but I really would’ve been happy with any of these men winning.

Backstage
Oney Lorcan says no one has been more important to the cruiserweight division than Cedric Alexander, but everything comes to an end. Lorcan wants to lead the cruiserweight division into the future, and that’s why he’s facing Alexander tonight.

Backstage
Cedric Alexander says he’s been drafted to RAW. It’s a huge opportunity to build his legacy, and that’s what he’s been doing during his time on 205 Live. He might be moving on, but tonight Alexander isn’t going down without a fight.

Match 1
Oney Lorcan vs Cedric Alexander
(referee: Danilo Anfibio)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Oney Lorcan wins via pinfall after a half-and-half suplex
Time: 18:14

Match Thoughts
Very good match. The finish felt inevitable, but it was very well done. Cedric looked great, but he took quite a lot of punishment from Lorcan. Lorcan hit hard and often, and he made a good case for being towards the top of the cruiserweight division.

Ring Area
After the match, Lorcan holds out his hand to Alexander. The two men shake hands, then Lorcan leaves the ring. Alexander gratefully receives a round of applause from the crowd.

Show Impressions
This felt like an important show. The fatal four way maybe wasn’t super important in the long run, but I do think it set the stage for the next contender for the title. And of course, Cedric Alexander had a great send-off in his match with Lorcan.

Match of the Night
Cedric Alexander vs Oney Lorcan
I hope Alexander is able to have matches like this on RAW.
