Match 1
Natsumi & Hina & Rina & Hanan vs Sadie Gibbs & Mary Apache
(referee: Barb Sasaki)
Result: Mary Apache pins Hina and Rina after a double running lariat
Time: 6:14
Match Thoughts
This was pretty fun. This was supposed to be three on three, but Natsumi (who is Mary Apache’s daughter) decided to join the other team right before the match started. For the first part of the match, the numbers were too much for Gibbs. Gibbs was isolated and dominated by her opponents. Once Mary Apache got into the match though, Gibbs and Apache easily took control and ended the match.
Match 2
Bobbi Tyler & Hana Kimura vs Bea Priestley & Viper (SWA Champ, EVE International Champ)
(referee: Barb Sasaki)
Result: Bea Priestley pins Bobbi Tyler after a curb stomp
Time: 8:29
Match Thoughts
Good match. This was hard fought by both teams. Bobbi Tyer stood out for having a strong, resilient performance, though the team of Viper and Bea Priestley dominated large portions of the match.
Match 3
Alex Gracia & Tam Nakano (Artist Champ) & Saki Kashima (Artist Champ) vs AZM & Konami & Momo Watanabe (World Champ)
(referee: Barb Sasaki)
Result: Tam Nakano pins AZM with a bridging Tiger suplex
Time: 10:13
Match Thoughts
Very good match. The action was pretty much non-stop throughout the entire duration. The battle went back and forth, and it came down to which team could hit the best string of big moves while isolating one of their opponents.
Match 4
Ruaka & Kaori Yoneyama & Natsuko Tora & Jungle Kyona vs Jamie Hayter & Sumire Natsu & Hazuki (High Speed Champ) & Kagetsu (World Champ) w/ Nao Yamaguchi
(referee: Daichi Murayama)
Result: Jamie Hayter pins Ruaka after a running knee strike
Time: 14:17
Match Thoughts
Good match. As with most multi-person Oedo Tai matches, there was a fair amount of brawling and a lot of chaos. There was also a lot of in-ring action though, and that was quite good. Everybody seemed to match up well, and even Ruaka, the most inexperienced person in the match, was helped to look good. Ruaka was definitely the weak link though, and her tag into the match signaled the beginning of the end.
Kagetsu and Kyona had a little time in the ring together. They have a match coming up at Korakuen Hall, so if there was a focal point to the match, it was seeing them face off. Kagetsu chose not to start against Kyona, but Kagetsu did demand Kyona get into the ring at one point in the match. Nothing was settled of course, but it was a nice preview for their upcoming bout.
Ring Area
A brawl continues at ringside after the match. The two teams are separates, and Oedo Tai gets into the ring. Kagetsu says Jungle Kyona isn’t such a big deal and says they should settle things right now. Kyona says she’ll settle things in their match at Korakuen Hall. Kagetsu leaves with Oedo Tai.
Match 5
Future of Stardom Title Match
Utami Hayashishita (Goddess Champ) vs Starlight Kid (Future Champ)
(referee: Daichi Murayama; title match official: Rossy Ogawa)
Result: Utami Hayashishita wins vis submission with an Argentine back breaker
Time: 9:37
Match Thoughts
Very good match. I was surprised with how strong Starlight Kid looked against her bigger and stronger opponent. Kid had a great game plan right from the start and stuck with it for most of the match. Kid immediately went for Utami’s leg, and she kept attacking it with strikes, holds, and submissions. Utami was down on the mat for a large portion of the match, but Utami’s size and strength started to become more of a factor as the match went on. I’d like to see a rematch for the title at some point. This was quite good.
Match 6
New Year’s Battle Royal
Hina vs Saki Kashima (Artist Champ) vs Hanan vs Starlight Kid vs Natsumi vs Rina vs Tam Nakano (Artist Champ) vs Ruaka vs Kaori Yoneyama vs Jungle Kyona vs Kagetsu (World Champ) w/ Nao Yamaguchi vs Hazuki (High Speed Champ) vs Jamie Hayter vs Sadie Gibbs vs Bobbi Tyler vs Alex Gracia vs AZM vs Konami vs Bea Priestley vs Viper (SWA Champ, EVE International Champ) vs Utami Hayashishita (Future & Goddess Champ) vs Momo Watanabe (Wonder & Goddess Champ) vs Mari Apache
(referee: Barb Sasaki; at ringside: Mayu Iwatani)
Result: Starlight Kid wins
Time: 16:13

Match Thoughts
This was fun. It was kind of silly most of the time, but that was the point. There were some serious moments, mostly late in the match, but for the most part this battle royal was just meant to be light and fun. A couple of my favorite eliminations were Natsumi and Sadie Gibbs. Both of them got tricked into elimination in a couple of very amusing ways.
Ring Area
After the match, Starlight Kid says she might have lost the Future of Stardom Title tonight, but she take the High Speed Title in a few days. Hazuki says she doesn’t need the title, but Starlight Kid won’t increase the value of the championship. Hazuki says she will not lose to Starlight Kid. Starlight Kid again says she is going to win.
Starlight Kid then invites everyone into the ring to close the show.
Show Impressions
I liked the show. The first three matches were just okay, but the second half of the show was a lot of fun.
Match of the Night
Starlight Kid vs Utami Hayashishita
This match was different than I expected it to be. I thought it would be a more even match throughout, but Kid dominated a lot of the match. That got me quite interested to see where it would go.
