Match Thoughts
Good match. This was a big match for Kanellis. Kendrick kept going for the Captain’s Hook throughout the match, and Kanellis had to fight hard to repeatedly find ways to escape. Kanellis then ended the match with a nice string of offense. Hopefully he can use this match to build some real momentum.
Backstage
Tony Nese tells Drake Maverick that he’s getting restless. Drake understands. Akira Tozawa joins them, and Nese tells Tozawa that he wants to put his title on the line against Tozawa. Drake isn’t opposed to the idea, but he doesn’t want to make the decision right now. Maverick will take it into consideration though.
Backstage
Ariya Daivari says last week was his chance to prove he’s not done with the Cruiserweight Title yet. Instead, he had to have stitches because of Oney Lorcan. So now, Daivari is going to give Lorcan some stitches.

Noam Dar vs Mike Karma

Result: Noam Dar wins via pinfall after the Nova Roller

Match Thoughts
Dar arrogantly played with his opponent as he dominated him. Squash.
Ring Area
In the ring, Sarah Schreiber asks Noam Dar if he’s back on track in 205 Live. Dar says he was never off the track. The only reason he might have had some setbacks is because of the jet lag from going back and forth between NXT UK and 205 Live. But now, he’s ready to dominate on both shows.
Backstage
Kayla Braxton asks Drake Maverick who else he is considering for a Cruiserweight Title shot other than Akira Tozawa. As Drake begins to answer, he sees R-Truth with his 24/7 Title down the hallway. Drake chases after R-Truth.
Backstage
Oney Lorcan apologizes for the stitches he gave to Daivari. He says Daivari looks unbalanced, so he’ll give him stitches on the other side of his head to even things out.

Gentleman Jack Gallagher vs Humberto Carrillo

Match Thoughts
Very good match. Carrillo and Gallagher are a good match for each other. Gallagher went about his business in a technical fashion, and Carrillo flew around the ring a fair amount. Gallagher seemed to be more methodical in his approach, and he had more control throughout the match, but when Carrillo hit his moves they were usually big ones. This was fun.
Show Impressions
This was a good show. All the matches felt like they were statements in one way or another. With the search for a number one contender ongoing, I think this show was about planting seeds.

I probably won’t ever get tired of seeing them wrestle each other.
