Match 1
“The Librarian” Peter Avalon w/ “The Librarian” Leva Bates vs Jimmy Havoc vs Scorpio Sky (Tag Champ)
(referee: Paul Turner)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Scorpio Sky pins Peter Avalon after a TKO
Time: 6:30

Match Thoughts
Good match. Avalon was probably the weak link, but Avalon and Havoc both seemed to want to go after Scorpio Sky. Maybe they wanted to prove something against one of the most prominent rising stars in AEW, but that didn’t work out so well for them. Havoc did better than Avalon, but Havoc got too concerned with weapons, specifically his staple gun. Avalon tried to steal a victory, but he still hasn’t found his gtoove yet. Sky looked very good once again.

Video
The Dark Order questions people’s motives for joining them. Some guy just wants friends, so he’s beaten up and possibly eaten.

Match 2
John Silver & Alex Reynolds vs Marko Stunt & Luchasaurus w/ Jungle Boy
(referee: Mike Posey)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Marko Stunt pins Alex Reynolds after an assisted elevated corkscrew cutter
Time: 6:16

Match Thoughts
This was fun. It went about like I expected. Luchasaurus had a little action to start, then Marko Stunt tagged in. Marko had a little offense, but then he got beat up for a while. That allowed Luchasaurus to get a hot tag and beat up both Silver and Reynolds which led to the end of the match. I enjoyed it.

Studio
Lexy Nair gives us news about the women’s division. Hikaru Shida was the top ranked contender but she got beat by Statlander. Also, Nyla Rose got suspended for powerbombing referee Rick knox through a table. Plus, Brandi Rhodes offered Kris Statlander a spot in the Nightmare Collective, but Statlander didn’t say anything.

After the news, Big Swole is profiled. Then, the women’s rankings are are shown from top to bottom: Shida, Rose, Sakura, Baker, Statlander.

Video
MJF (with Wardlow) responds to Cody, saying The Blade, The Butcher, and The Bunny work for him. Also, MJF doesn’t need or want Cody’s money.

Video
Last week after their match, Santana and Ortiz angrily challenged the Young Bucks to a Texas Street Fight.

Match 3
Kip Sabian w/ Penelope Ford vs Kenny Omega
(referee: Aubrey Edwards)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Kenny Omega wins via pinfall after the One-Winged Angel
Time: 14:20

Match Thoughts
Very good match. Omega seemed to take Sabian somewhat lightly at first, but Sabian stuck around long enough to force Omega to take him seriously. Penelope Ford got more and more involved as the match went on, and her involvement led to some pretty tense moments for Omega. Sabian was in trouble a lot during this match, but there was just enough chaos to make me wonder if he might not get an upset victory over Omega.

Show Impressions
I liked the match. The main event was definitely worth watching, and the other matches were fun.

Match of the Night
Kip Sabian vs Kenny Omega
Omega continues to rebuild his confidence in a very entertaining way.
