Tony Shiavone welcomes us to the show.

Match 1
Shoko Nakajima vs Riho (Women’s Champ)
(referee: Mike Posey)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Riho wins via pinfall after a running double knee strike
Time: 7:34

Match Thoughts
Very good match. This was an extremely fast-paced match with lots of fun sequences. Nakajima pinned Riho in a tag match back at Fight for the Fallen last year, so this turned into a bit of a way for Riho to get a win back. Nakajima looked great. She’s very good and kicking out at the very last millisecond. Riho also looked great, rising to the challenge of facing a smaller opponent who might be quicker than her.

Match 2
Jimmy Havoc vs “The Concrete Rose” Sonny Kiss
(referee: Aubrey Edwards)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Jimmy Havoc wins via submission with a cross arm breaker and joint manipulation
Time: 10:01

Match Thoughts
Very good match. Havoc spent the first half of this match completely dominating Kiss. Kiss struggled, and the beating he took led to one of his arms being slightly hurt. Kiss mounted a comeback, but his arm became a factor late in the match. I liked this match, and I’d like to see them face each other again sometime.

Backstage
Luther says he is the mutant sent to destroy the world. He calls out Jimmy Havoc, telling him to be ready to play ball (with barbed wire baseball bats).

Match 3
Cassandra Golden vs Hikaru Shida
(referee: Paul Turner)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Hikaru Shida wins via pinfall after a running knee strike and a running single-leg dropkick
Time: 6:29

Match Thoughts
Good match. This was an exhibition for Shida, and she looked good. The finish of this match was nice and slightly brutal-looking.

Match 4
Stu Grayson & Evil Uno w/ Alex Reynolds, John Silver, Creepers vs Marko Stunt & Jungle Boy
(referee: Rick Knox)

Show/Hide Results

Result: Evil Uno pins Marko Stunt after the Fatality
Time: 9:45

Match Thoughts
Great match. I think I haven’t been a very big fan of Dark Order in AEW, but they are good in the ring. They matched up very well with Jurassic Express tonight, and this was a super fun match. Stunt and Jungle Boy’s chemistry together is always wonderful.

Ring Area
After the match, creepers enter the ring and attack Jungle Boy and Marko Stunt. Luchasaurus runs out and takes down all the creepers. Silver and Reynolds then attempt to take down Luchasaurus, but the quickly fail. Evil Uno and Stu Grayson double team Luchasaurus and finally take him down. SCU then runs out, and the Dark Order decides to retreat.

Show Impressions
This was another fun episode of Dark. Every match was good, and the main event was very good.

Match of the Night
Dark Order vs Jurassic Express
Good stuff all around.
