Match Thoughts
Good match. Chanel and Bates were a comedy team, and even though Bates did put up a fight from time to time, Big and Lil’ Swole dominated the match. Even when Chanel and Bates were in control, it never felt like they were going to win. It was really fun seeing Big and Lil’s Swole together tough, and it was mostly for that reason that I enjoyed the match.

Match Thoughts
Good match. Seeing Dasha wrestle was definitely the highlight here. She looked genuinely excited to be in the ring, and her excitement was infectious. Sure, her inexperience was taken advantage of by Ivelisse and Diamanté (who looked great as a team tonight), but this was just a fun moment. It was also a memorable match, not just because of Dasha, but because this was maybe the best and most competitive match of the tournament so far.

Backstage
Alex Marvez welcomes Big & Lil’ Swole. The Swole family is happy to be together, and they’re confident with their chances in the rest of the tournament.

Backstage
Alex Marvez welcomes Dasha Gonzalez. Dasha is still excited and happy despite the result of her tag match.

Backstage
Alex Marvez welcomes Ivelisse and Diamanté respect each other, and that’s what keeps them together and makes them a threat.

Show Impressions
This episode was easily better than the first, but I think the next episode is going to be even better. I was happy with all of the teams tonight, though I wonder what the point of having everyone draw for a random teammate is if half the teams in the tournament are made up of established teams, training partners, or good friends. The teams are anything but random, so why feign randomness?

Match of the Night
Rachael Ellering & Dasha vs Ivelisse & Diamanté
Best match of the tournament so far.
