Killian Dain and Matt Riddle try again to have their street fight, Dijakovic and Keith Lee have a spectacular battle, KUSHIDA makes a fun choice of partners in his fight against Imperium, Dakota Kai returns, and more on a very good episode of NXT.
Triple H makes a huge announcement regarding the NXT Title match at Takeover: New York, and a new contender for the title is decided in a great main event.
Ember Moon takes on Ruby Riot and Drew McIntyre faces Killian Dain to decide who will be next to face Bobby Roode for the NXT Title in a good episode of NXT packed with a variety of entertaining matches.
Including the results of the fallout from the women’s battle royal last week, matches for all of NXT’s titles at Takeover: Chicago are determined in this episode, including a great number one contender match between Hideo Itami and Roderick Strong.
Not many things might have been settled here, but this was a good show with some good, or at least interesting, matches.
With a couple of good matches, a lot of filler, and a return that no one cares about (both in-story and out), this week’s NXT was okay.
