Match Thoughts
This was a pretty good match. It was billed as a “luchadoras” match, and I think the action fit that description.
The commentators put over how the rivalry between Marcela and La Amapola has been going on for around ten years. I definitely think that’s an interesting note, but I didn’t necessarily see that in any sort of heightened competition in the actual match. Regardless, this was good.
The two started out exchanging holds at a fairly fast pace. Eventually they started to add bigger moves such as a few dives and some more power-based moves. The match has a nice build to it and a satisfying conclusion.
