NXT Tag Title Match
War Raiders vs Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong (NXT Tag Champs)
(referee: Eddie Orengo)
Result: War Raiders win via DQ when Bobby Fish attacks them with a chair (Undisputed Era retains the titles)
Great match. Despite the non-finish, this was really great. The War Raiders started strong, but O’Reilly and Strong isolated and picked apart Rowe for an extended time during the middle portion of the match. Hanson eventually got the tag, and that’s when the match exploded into a chaotic final few minutes. Both teams looked great and did what they do best. War Raiders provided powerful and agile devastation while the Undisputed Era used technique and timing to dominate. I can’t wait to see them wrestle again.
After the match, O’Reilly and Strong are joined by Adam Cole and Bobby Fish as they continue their attack on the War Raiders. The Undisputed Era is now four strong.
Nikki Cross writes stuff. Also, she knows.
Britt Baker vs Shayna Baszler
(referee: Jessika Carr)
Result: Shayna Baszler wins via referee stoppage
This definitely put over how dangerous Shayna is. Britt Baker had zero offense, and Baszler wasted no time in punishing Baker’s arm. Baszler hit her stomp on Baker’s arm, so the referee had to stop the match.
After the match, Shayna Baszler hits Britt Baker with a running knee strike before smiling and leaving the ring.
William Regal needs some answers before Aleister Black comes back to NXT. Therefore, Regal will be talking to Nikki Cross after her match tonight.
Tian Bing & Rocky vs Danny Burch & Oney Lorcan
(referee: Darryl Sharma)
Result: Oney Lorcan pins Rocky after an assisted implant DDT
This was pretty much a squash. Tian Bing got a little offense right at the start, but Lorcan and Burch didn’t really have any trouble here. Their finisher looked really good though.
Bianca Belair gets ready for her match.
Bianca Belair vs Nikki Cross
(referee: Tom Castor)
Result: the match ends in a No Contest when the lights go out and Aleister Black enters the ring
This was another very good match between these two. I’d like for a definitive finish at some point, but even without that these two are very entertaining together. Belair had a hard time getting a handle on how to attack Cross at first, so Belair just starting hitting Cross really, really hard. That seemed to work somewhat, though Cross seems to enjoy pain (or at least get motivated by it). The match ended abruptly, but of course that will just lead to another match. Which is fine.
After the match, Aleister Black appears in the ring after the lights go out. Black beckons for Nikki Cross to come over to him. He wants to know who attacked him. Nikki Cross whispers something to Black, and Black does not look happy.
This was a good show. The matches were good even though the “double main event” ended with two non-finishes. NXT seems to be getting into a habit of not paying off big matches over the past few weeks. I hope that changes, but I’m still entertained regardless.

These two teams work great together. More, please.
